Sorry, im lefthanded and meant the right channel
At least with my speakers I only hear the left channel. Putting on my headphones I hear a very weak signal in the right channel, which is about -15dB lower (about 1/6) than left level.

EVERYBODY STAND STILL.
I just spent 10 minutes adjusting my left and right input knobs, apparently a slight breeze can shift them 20 db.
But yes, they were off- opened Logic and saw the difference, put on my headphones and noticed the difference.
Edit: And now I need to rerecord 5 tracks of audio in a song I'm working on, or else my music will make me lean so far left I'll be more lopsided than I am.

Why not just make your own sound?? I don't understand why people want to sound like everyone else. Yes the sounds are great but when everyone uses the same sound it becomes uninteresting, in my opinion.
Korg R3, Roland SH-201, Roland MC-909, Novation Mininova, Novation Impulse 49, Korg EMX, and a bunch of VSTi's
I am going to make my own sounds, definitely. However, I want to learn how Skrillex makes his so I can apply some of the techniques myself, mix them with my own flavor, and get my final result.DaniH wrote:Why not just make your own sound?? That's great when you want to make your sound evolve, but I'm talking about say "preset people". People who get a JP-8000, Virus, Radias, etc... because all the big named producers use one. Then they just use the same sounds as Tiesto for example.

I patch everything from scratch in my music, giving it my own flavor. I simply wanted to see how the robotic scream/growl was made so I could work on making my own basses with as much power- not necessarily imitations.DaniH wrote:That's great when you want to make your sound evolve, but I'm talking about say "preset people". You may be able to recreate it on the R3 like that, but the original isn't vocoded. He uses the VST Massive with some processing. He gets the talking sound by using the LFO or Performer to modulate the wavetable and LFO, probably on the Modern Talking wavetable, which gives that "vowel" talking sound.
