I have downloaded the operations guide, the parameters guide, and the voice name list to my iPad. Lots of reading to do. I think I will be well prepared when my Kronos finally arrives. Thank you so much for posting! :)

Do they try to edit the file itself? The file is "SECURED", but I can print it on my printer.

Is the problem because it is secured? If so, I can get around this and send you one that is editable.
Thanks Martin,

I was able to get Kinkos a version that worked in Preview using "Save as PDF" under OSX 10.5.x. ScottB601 helped me out on that. With the original file, when they tried to print it, a page would print and then 10 blank pages followed by one good page.

I, for one, STRONGLY recommend NOT sending out manual pdfs that are editable. That is fraught with possibility for mischief......doncha think?

You can download the Oasys Parameter Guide on korguser.net, you can find all the Mod-7 informations you need.

Now off to:
https://www.fedex.com/us/office/copypri ... /packages/
to get printed and spiral bound paper manuals!

************ PRINTING CAN BE DONE. ****************

I used Mac OS 10.5.8 and Preview 4.2 to open the documents. Then I print/save a page range from Preview as a pdf while renaming it. Sends to FedEx just fine if you follow their page maximum guidelines.
How much were you charged? Fed Ex in Japan wants over $250 US.

How much was I charged?

Aye, there's the rub mate. That there's bein' the splinters in the gangplank don'tcha know. . . .For the Operations Guide, the Parameter Guide in four sequential manuals, and the Voice Name List, the total charges, including tax, were $236! But, now I have the manuals in print form for reading elsewhere besides computer or nasty loose pages. I did that with my Oasys and put them into 3 ring binders. quite a pain and inconvenient and uncomfortable to read in the !*!^%#, er, by the fire. Yes, I know there will be updates, but the updates to the VNL and the PG won't be significant and the OG will be re-doable. Sending in the Quick Start Guide order today.

Terrorists are not interested in their own personal soundtrack. However, it is conceivable that someone would change a few numbers here and there within the pdf and then re-post it online as a "joke". I don't think anyone here would do that, but you never know.
