PA500 converted to PA800 with 256MB RAM and colored LCD

I've read on this forum that an electronic store in Germany does that. Apperently, they ship you the kit and you do it yourself type of thing.

I have seen also another facebook account that Tonys put on his post on the forum , but according to Tony the cost to upgrade the ram to 256 Mbs is about $500 , I think it is a bit high.

The guy on the facebook gives an oerating system but no hard disk. There is also another place that gives you a hard disk.. But their kit is upgrading a PA800 EX (Oreiental). I am not sure if they give you the OS as part of the kit.

What you see on the video , the Pa500 ram is upgraded to 256 MB, but the OS is the latest official Korg release in Jul 2011, does that mean if you upgrade the ram in a pa800 you wouldn't need a modified OS to keep it working with the extra ram , I am kinda confused.

this project has 4 different kind

1-pa500 whit colored lcd and 64 mb samle ram
2-same whit 128 mb ram
3-same white 256 mb ram
4-same white 256 mb ram vocal and mp3 board

in first method you have to pay aboat 700 $ and its worth it...
of course you can convert any kind of pa500
our engineer in iran has worked aboat 2 years for this project...
