I only use the O to Input to Logic.
From Logic then I go to my Monitors and main Amps.

Just curious why u are running Logic output back to the Kronos and then to your amps?
Well... if you notice, i have a MOTU 828 MKIII firewire interface... pretty embarrassing story

one day, while in a rush to record something, not wanting to turn my rack around to find the firewire port... i just reach down and played it by feel... only problem was the firewire port on the motu bends easy... and i put it in upside down :(

this broke the motus firewire and my computers... Motu replaced my unit free of charge luckily.. but my computer has no firewire, and it took the disc drive too!

so the kronos is actually my only option for I/O. i have no other way of connecting my monitors for my computer unless i have another USB interface.

anyway.. i have a funky feeling when korg releases the long waited editor and vst software to "make the kronos the most power plugin ever" this will be resolved :)

just one more month and ill have gathered every bit of change i need to fund my new hackintosh! 8 gigs of ram and 2x1TB internal SSD's.... mmmm...

You are sending midi via usb, why not just use audio cables to the Motu or Optical spdif and bypass the whole usb audio thingy?
Works beautifully, no hassles.

edit: Woops, no Motu or computer FW in the picture. Sorry, I missed that.

I believe he is recording midi. If he doesn't play it back thru Kronos, he won't hear anything.
I may have misunderstood you. If you are just recording audio then I understand. Can you explain.. thanks.

I know you've done this before, but do have a look at your settings, something is checked or unchecked somewhere in the chain.. JMO

Well maybe, but that also may cause other problems if you don't sort it out first? Good luck.

Why not just get a fifteen dollar PCI firewire card?

This is the simplest I could find. It's a smaller firewire though, the Motu might need the big one? I don't know how stable it would be for audio, but I imagine if you don't run too many tracks at once... It's worth a shot for the seven bucks.

Like I said before, check your settings for Kronos in System Prefs./Sound.
Input-Output and OS X Audio/Midi setup.

It's a settings issue, go find it!
