Here in the Netherlands the price is E 3000 and as far as I know, not possible to get a discount (almost no store has one available).

STOP !
You sound like your impulse buying . We all have done it .
Take your time and demo . It's the only way to be sure .
You already have some nice gear so take your time .
You also asked about JP-80 which is also a excellent synth .
You may get a better deal if you trade some old gear you don't use .
Questions to ask your self :
Do you need a workstation ?
Do you want ease of use ?
What type of sounds do you want ?
Do you want to program your own sounds ?
Do you want to layer easily your sounds ?
Good luck .
they said no warranty for level 2 keyboard.just offer 45 days return . So i cancelled the order , and get the new one from my local store . The reason i want the kronos even i have a punch of gears because i would like to replace my triton ex and vr combo, it seems the kronos is the perfect one.My korg triton ex have some issues with numeric buttons, my roland vr 760 works like a champ , but a little bit heavy to carry around. My roland fantom G is good for recording, but the sounds is not good enough for live even with two arx cards added.

I just called that same store. They have an Kronos 88 key in stock BRAND NEW with full warranty for $2999 + tax (I think he said tax would be $218)..
I asked why the low price, he said, that's just the way the owner sells them. Just as if you went to Guitar Center or any other retailer... just a lot better price.

You would have to visit the store to make certain it's "A" stock.apex wrote:I just called that same store. They have an Kronos 88 key in stock BRAND NEW with full warranty for $2999 + tax (I think he said tax would be $218)..

That's factory sealed in box.
once it's out of box, it's B stock. And who knows where it's been.
Could be a good deal if they have an extended warranty available.
Oftentimes the optional warranty available through a 3d party has more and better guarantees than the factory warranty, and at that price you could pay $200 for a 3d party warranty (probably would take it out to 3 years) and still be ahead of the game.
