They've already released as the "iKaossilator" app:

Yes

I'm talking about an app based purely on the Kaoss pad FX processor to pass audio thru,The Kaossillator app is more a complex phrase synth generator than a standalone FX processor

I see a bright future for the iKaossilator, may be the V3 will be able to customize sound and samples, also fx editing and the ability to use it as a kaoss pad quad processor as well. Also with user arpegiator and step sequencer. It can be a mini Ableton Live.

I hear that. When i log onto korg and see "now monotron available" when i click the link giving me an option to buy, i dont want to go threw the process just to be told its on pre-order.

Not really upset, i was just really excited for my aux bus...

I will admit, even tho I only give limited use to the monotron, I am very tempted to pick up a delay or duo....but don't you guys wonder that Korg might release another analog synth, similar to the monotribe but with more effects and all? Maybe that will be too early for NAMM, especially after the version2 release, but still...you never know.

I have the delay on pre order, and im just setting it up to my auxiliary sends so that i can send any of my channels to the filter/delay, these are really the only 2 things i want, the ds-10 emulates the ms-10 the ms-10 filter and some tape delays should go along great with the ds-10

good point. that sounds like a nice set up.

But it makes me think, wouldn't it be freakin cool if Korg released a hardware version of the DS10+? As close as can be, with 2 synth parts (with electribe-like sequencers), 4 drum pads, keyboard (no ribbon!), plus the kaoss pad(s).
And of course, effects and patching sections!!

that would be heaven, man...pure heaven...

Korg is probably going to announce the following:

microGrand: a 1/4" scale grand piano with microkeys
KaossPad Quattro: A KaossPad without sampling or effects, just a lighted pad midi controller, same price.

microKorg-XLSD: Same thing as a microKorg-XL, but with an SD card, same price.

monoWaveDrum: An analog version of the miniWaveDrum with the monoTribe drums.

5 new guitar tuners and 2 new metronomes.

Or in other words, just more scheisse I don't want or care about instead of a new KaossPad that's better than the KP3, a new synth that's better than the R3/Radias, a new Electribe that's better than the EMX & ESX, and a new Kaossilator that's designed from the ground up but can do everything the original Kaossilator and Pro can do and more. Some of us want good reasons to upgrade to newer gear, such as stuff that's clearly better than what we already have. Call me crazy, I know. I'd be even be satisfied with iPad app versions of these products if they could do everything the existing gear can do, but updated to make use of the built-in flash storage for sampling and program memory.
