Can I play catch up also? I'll upload two tracks this weekend and another later next week and let my latest count for my first entry, if that's cool with the group on this thread.
I don't have fancy gadgets. I just make music with old soup cans and a stick I found in the woods.

Then you have 12 songs and can create a cd of all your great new music. I have three in cdbaby already and have just finished the mastering on my 4th cd. All my songs have been produced and commented on by the like of the people here and have helped me amazingly 'think outside the box' and to beef up my songs by listening and implementing the suggestions that I thought were important to consider. I would never have put out this much FINISHED music were it not for the song a month deal. It has really worked for me, and you do get a great comaradarie as well.

LIKE. :)

I can already tell I've progressed this year.. Only 4 months in. OSAM has definitely increased my motivation to produce more tracks and at the same time to produce better tracks whilst also experimenting with new sounds and ideas. It also has made me start thinking more about the planning of tracks and what techniques or sounds I need to get down in preparation for the next tracks I want to do... Not just messing around and seeing what comes of it (tho I do still do that a lot :p) since I don't have a musical background, or any kind of training it's always good to get feedback from people with more experience and or technical know-how. Hoping my production will be at a level I'm happy enough with by the end of the year to record a first album.... And its lots of fun... If you're not having fun making music then you're doing it for the wrong reasons. :)
