A great first session! Got a few Combis together, Layers and Splits 101. We'll tackle Sampling and Basic Sequencing on the 6th of March...and work on getting a decent camera setup for the K...Eight Kronos owners in one room and 3 people considering getting one, not a bad turn out.

Had a pleasant visit from Bård, a Kronos user from Bergen, Norway today at our shop in Kew who read about us in this forum and sought us out in Melbourne. We had a good chat and tried out his new Korg nano pad on our Kronos with V1.5 installed. Worked like a charm. Also hooked up an iPad running Animoog and iMS20 via USB which received MIDI and transmitted audio. Have a great trip back! Our next session is on Tuesday, March 6, 6:30-8:30.

If anyone hears about something like this happening in Toronto, Canada please let me know. This is a great idea. I know there used to be Cubase users meetings here.

Pretty good interactive setup tonight. 8 Kronos owners around a Kronos 73 and 2 61's. We went through the different steps for quick record, loading song templates, track edit menu commands and inserting WAV into audio tracks in the Sequencer. Went for a couple of hours...felt like we could have gone a few more just on sequencer mode. It's amazing how deep you can go with the Kronos!
