Please give instructions on how to completely remove / uninstall the EXs12 Piano. After playing with the demo, and experiencing all of the all-to-frequent sound dropouts, I have decided to NOT buy this add-on. I'll wait for the Karo sounds, if they ever make it to market. Thanks, Rick
ps. I am very disappointed that the moderator decided to go down the road of censorship re: the faulty keybed thread. Shame on you. So much for allowing the members to freely express their valid thoughts / concerns. I believe Korg is behind that decision. After all, the poll was nearly a 50/50 split.

That would be a deal breaker - I was about to try the demo install.
Surely you can uninstall without using the DVD to re-install?

Um, excuse me?!
Stop spreading lies please. Korg had nothing to do with the decision to close the thread. Yes the poll was nearly a 50/50 split but the poll also had nothing to do with the thread being closed as it was already closed before the poll was created. The poll was created by a member to gauge people's opinions, it was never going to influence our decision anyway.
The whole "The moderators work for Korg" line is getting really thin and it's also libel.

Maybe you should apologise readiego.

I will come down very hard on anyone trolling, people with more than one account, people who were banned and returned, and anyone looking for a fight.
Order will be restored in this part of the forum guys. Enough is enough now.

Sharp.

... which brings me back to the Boesendorfer sound.
I have developed a funny relation to this grand within two days:
- each time I play it solo, I'm missing the "singing" sustain tone of a warm grand piano like that of the German grand/Steinway.
- each time I have a band arrangement with a tempo above 80/90 (everything above ballad or slow songs) and some bass/drums/pads/synth/B3 context, this piano shows up as a real little gem, cutting through without being obtrusive.
One technical question (being lazy to research), because I forgot how to do something I already did before: how exactly could I kick out a single EXi library from my preload ksc file?
Just give me a hint where the unload took place, and I'll get the rest working (saving my memory content as new ksc, etc.).

I find EXs12 to be really percussive, and encourages a different style of playing than what I would normally achieve with the German grand.
The consistency of the sampling is really top-notch as well. With a bit of EQ and reverb, it's possible to accentuate some of the ringing harmonics on the high notes for some nice effects.
I'd still like to know how to uninstall it though.

Do you really mean "uinstall" as removing from the hard drive?
If you don't want it to autoload you can go to Global Mode, KSC Autoload List and de-select it. You could then erase/clear the program bank.

No he means uninstall it completely off the drive so you get the space back.
I'd like to know how to do this too....

This is indeed what I meant.
I've investigated thoroughly, and there doesn't seem to be a way to remove it from the SSD once installed. You can only remove the KSC and PCG files.
I've looked through every relevant page menu and option, and I can't find a way of doing this. I'm looking into creating an uninstaller to get rid of it.
Poor form, Korg, poor form. You could at least mention in the manual that there is no way for a user to uninstall an EXs that writes to the /korg/mnt/rw/PCM section of the SSD ...

I cannot for the life of me find a way to get rid of it either.

Back to the sound:
Am I the only one besides Busch using it and giving feedback on its sound character???
P.S. Thanks SeedyLee, had overlooked your feedback in between all the offtopic stuff (including that of myself

)

Woah, no uninstall? Dealbreaker for sure. I won't even try the demo if that's the case.
Anyone have any luck uninstalling yet?
