You can load individual patterns from the SM card and save them over existing patterns (yes, it is very time consuming to do it this way). If there are old patterns you want to keep, be careful that you don't save over them with the new ones. Do a backup first you should be ok.

Hi-
Just one by one, AFIK. I overwrote bank C with some of the UK bass files to see how they did the sidechain. Basically, they send a couple loud kicks to the same compressor as a bass line and the one overpowers the other. Compressor has both values set to about one oclock. Ugly and effective.

Im having problems loading both the UK expansion pack AND my old patterns on my EMX at the same time. I load one and it works fine. I load the other and it overrides it. How do I get both on my EMX at the same time? This is starting to bug me. Ive got a TON of patterns saved that I plan on putting on using on a demo but at the same time I really want these new sounds in my kit. Thanks in advance.

Okay I made a nother thread when I needed help figuring out the best way to load the new patterns here:http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpbb2/ ... hp?t=83505

As soon as it uploads I'm gonna post a video on how to save the UK bass patterns one by one into empty slots in your EMX like Ive been doing. Yes it's time consuming but it ensures that I wont copy over my hard work and that I wont save any redundant UK bass patterns to my EMX.
