I just remove my battery from KB. But,I made some test. Here are screenshots from my phone stopwatch .

1st screenshot is boot time WITH battery plugged IN - 7 min 29 sec

Image

2nd screenshot is boot time WITHOUT the battery - 10 min 25 sec

Image

Measurement started at the same time when I pressed "STANDBY" button.

So,battery speeds up only 3 minutes ... I shall say again:

This in not correct:
With the battery, the Pa3X starts in under a minute. Without the battery start‐up time is between 2 and 3 minutes depending upon the amount of USER PCM installed.
and this bug is a MUST to solve.

Now my STANDBY LED keeps blinking GREEN-RED...and that is normal now ,because the battery is unplugged.

I would like to ask how you know the new battery that will give us the distributor will be one of the old batteries. Greetings

Hi .
All is simple - why you didn't read -
Any Pa3X corrected at the factory, your local Korg distributor or Pa3X dealer will have a sticked affixed indicating the correct battery is fitted.
It looks like this
and there is a picture ...read here - http://www.korgpa.com/en/news/434-repair-action.html

all will be OK - don't worry - be happy :)

Lika, you didn't understand. That you're saying is OK when someone is buying NEW Pa3...

But,question is with existing users : We pull out original battery, and give it to our reseller - How to know when we get new battery for replacement that is correct-NEW one,and not OLD produced fault battery??? New ones should be different in some way- color, serial etc...

You're right Lika. As far as I understand you say that the new battery should have that sign exactly as shown. But I question whether I could be sure that that sign will be placed on some of the old batteries. KORG should display look like the new battery should be replaced with the old and to have something that will differ from the old. Might otherwise some of us to be fooled. Greetings

Super then. I contacted the distributor for Macedonia and EX-YU territories and wrote me to send my serial, and asked me where I bought synths. I am here from Macedonia purchased from a distributor rather than store means no receipt and guarantee for it. So my guarantee is man himself. I wonder if it will affect me as I do not have receipt and warranty for synths (I think it should). Another thing now that I had to write the serial number found that writing on the label and serial number to it 76-k and my keyboard is 61-k. I wonder if the same battery of 61-k and 76 k. Maybe write a little more than how you need but do not know where to turn so excuse me. Greetings

I asked my dealer about the battery problem, he contacted the distributor for
Skandinavia, EM Nordic. They had no info from Korg about this. I don't think I will do anything before I get the message from them. Or should I?
