The Akai MPK mini works, but can't be "hot-plugged", it has to be connected when the KRONOS is powered on...???

The KRONOS doesn't even have an EC5 socket, so it would be impossible for it to work.

This does work though.

Maybe that would suite your needs.

Oh thx sharp :)

I thought the ec5 used midi connections

I was looking also for an expression pedal... I think it might go with that: 2 birds, one stone!

Just tried my APC20 with the K.

It's an interesting one and I was able to assign a drum kit to a few different channels and transpose it to get what I want. Didn't play too well with RPPR though as each strip on the APC transmits on a different channel and RPPR only responds to the active track.

Anyway it could be fun for bashing out drum parts and triggering samples if you put the time into setting up your songs around it.

The APC does run off its own power supply anyway.

I'm going to try out my Novation ReMote37SL next. Obviously no automap but it's a pretty cool controller with lots of hands-on stuff and a nice keybed. And it looks good on the tier above the K.

Since M-Audio seems to work, has anyone tried the M-Audio Keystation 88es with their Kronos to see if you get full velocity? I only need 88 keys occasionally and keystation 88es looks like a pretty good bargin. I just want to make sure it works properly. Anyone?

Akai LPD8 and MPD32, both already mentionned, work with Kronos.

Native maschine Mikro controller does not work.

Novation impulse 25 does not work.

Can you explain a bit how this works ?
Do I need to use the USB "slave" port from the Kronos instead of using one of those flat USB ports ?

I have an Extreme 76, and Arturia Analog Experience The Laboratory 49 (hybrid synth consisting of software synth and hardware midi keyboard/controller.)

I want to try a connection via TEX'es USB port. Are there any risks? For both keyboards? Is no-damage guaranteed? :)

you use the B port (the square one). The Camera kit adapter has an A port (the rectangular one). In that scenario, the iPad is your PC and the Kronos is just a midi controller/audio interface.
