Asena!!
Don't even think of leaving the forum, we need you here, you have always been kind to people trying to help others. And just keep on complaining about your PA3X problems, we can take that. I really know the frustration of having a KB with problems. After a 3 years Audya nightmare (that I had to give up) be sure I know. Now finally I'm a happy player again, PA3X, this must be the best arranger ever (at least for me). And I know Korg will get things right, what ever is wrong. Good luck and please stay with us.
Kind regards

did u learn (yet) that whining doesn't help at all with anything, and it will not help you in this case?

do you see that lately nobody is replaying to your posts of this nature?

buddy, chill! - they r not doing this for you (only) - its for all.

Nice weather outside, go play soccer, or if you wanna stay inside, just play your pa2x ((THE BEAST) Whit an attitude:) ) , practice ..... practice ......

I chalenge you to tell me what you actually know about synths (if anything)
so you can justify your self about telling someone if they are whining.
Many people claim that there is nothing wrong with PA3X and that is due
ONLY TO THEIR CLUELESSNES of the machine and nothing else.
When you actually know the machine trust me, there will be bugs,
at least 50 of them...as in every case...always...but it takes knowledge
to actually explain and justify that...not just sitting on the computer from
some office and nothing else to do just pretending know it all and attacking people.

Sorry Asena, sorry to all I offended.
I sincerely apologize.

I didn't have to say it that way, (had very bad day in my studio  ) but i still think whining will not get u anything.

Asking or not asking for OS will not get us OS before. It will be out once its ready.

Sorry!

Asena is right. pa3x is full of bugs.
ex. if you use chord recog on vocal harmonizer and go to songplay mode then return to style mode sometimes the vocal harmonizer stop working even with lock activated on harm preset. There is more ... much more bugs...
another one ... select a song on songbook with a memorized transpose. lets say ... -3. now on superior right corner arrow do a write sts. (not on songbook). teste it now... the song have the sts saved (not the style like on pa2x) And transpose is now memorized with 0. it is not suposed to work like that so that is bug...

This is not the place to put all bugs.... I comunicated some of them to private mail of trammanoni. You want more bugs? ok. Sometimes when you go to sequencer to use style sequencer you don't have split point active and can't activate it.Another one When you trigger a pad synced with style most of the times the pad starts late and out of sync ( because pa3x read the pad in memory just when you hit it and should read it when you select style or songbook.).
I could continue but this is not the right post for it...

hello to all of you impatiently waiting for the update! especially you asena ! dear fellows! i have been waiting for days since the new os was announced and i even dont have the pa3x ! but i have been frustrated about the bugs as much as the owners and also i hoped for a few extra functions to make 3x more distinct from pa2x because lets face it, as much as interesting and powerful pa3x is, i cant quite call it the supposed-to-be next generation arranger that every 5 or 6 years korg introduces . ANYWAY, sounds like we are stuck with pa3x for another god 5 years at least so lets hope at least the updates be worth the patient. i have been in the forums everyday for two past months waiting for the new os and im on the edge now ! boy , i know what asena and othersfeel like , the waiting is disturbing. Sorry for the long talk but i had to get it off my chest after two month . Now for those who dont know, here is what they will probably see in the o.s . According to the german korg forum resources , it is indeed correct but you can never be sure so i wont take responsibility for these claims but i think you can count on them pretty much. by the way it is said that the new os would be 1.5

PREVIOUS MUSICAL SUPPLY optimized:
- All 540 styles (effects, mixing, sound)
- All PADs in 2160, EQ, effects, partially readjusted
- All 2160 STS, partly resurfaced, and STS name simplified
- Optimizes all 350 Perf
- Reworked all 900 SongBook entries with the optimized Styles

NEW:
- Reworked GM sound palette, lots of new sounds, XG-compatible
- At least 20 new styles
- At least 30 new sounds
- 80 new performances
- 20 new pads

Functions in the OS:
- All Styles can be edited freely!
- Better interaction, eg SONGBOOK now accessible from every level of play
- Various optimizations of the lyrics display
- Chord Sequencer: now pending from the transposer
- Is charged by hand in text style changes
- Octave Transpose in Voc. corrected
- Fast start with a lot of samples
- Various bug fixes (reliability)

p.s : the editable style feature mentioned above is for musikant version (german version) of pa3x since the styles( only german ones i suppose) were locked and not editable in the previous os due to copyright issue or something. korg has finally surrendered to users' objections to this and made them editable in the new os !
MUSCI AND THATS ALL...........!!!!

Do you think that the "Musikant" Styles will be available to us "International" folks with the new & improved OS?
