I'm pretty sure the Privia PX-330 does NOT have release velocity. I don't really find it that important anyway. However, the action on that keyboard is a pure pleasure... much nicer than many other boards out there at twice the price (and more)! Its different than RH3, and different than Nord's HA88. For me, 88 weighted keys are of the utmost importance. I can get used to just about ANY weighted 88-key board in about 15 seconds, so tweaking velocity levels doesn't really mean that much to me. For others however, I can see where it would be important to try to get the feel that you're looking for. Whatever it takes to get the job done (to tweak or not to tweak), and to feel good with it is all that matters. Ideally, you want a board where all you do is play it to get the results you want... whether that means tweaking velocity levels to achieve it or to just adjust to it on your own.
