You must have mind reading capabilities Sharp, i was about to request a video or tutorial on this as i have some libraries waiting for this to happen... My god even Omnisphere on the kronos, after 2.0 every kronos will be a sonic pandemonium, in a good way,hehehehhe...
Thank you for your time and dedication Sharp.
Best regards,
Ricardo

burningbusch wrote:Let me add that you could bring over all of the samples you want in your Kronos RMI at the same time by deleting all the other groups and just keeping the ones you want, e.g. LUTE, PIANO, PIANO PP, etc. You're just going to have to keep track of the sample names and which multisample they're going to be mapped to. If Hollow Sun has a clear naming convention, it shouldn't be a big problem.
Busch.
Thanks for such a great and detailed explanation Busch! I really appreciate it.
I'm sure I will run into questions though! Perhaps I can use Sharp's upcoming trick to upload SF2.
Will keep you posted.

Sharp wrote:Extreme Sample Converter also has the benefit of being able to convert VSTi’s into Samples, so that’s a major bonus.
Extreme Sample Converter on the other hand can run the VSTi from within itself and convert the Kontakt Libraries by sampling the Audio Out at high speed.
Sounds like this is what I need!
Thanks Sharp

Import...directly in Kronos?

Hi Dniss.
Import...directly in Kronos?
He meant you can import kontakt format into Extreme Sample Converter. Once in there, then you can convert it to SF2 to load into the KRONOS.
Sharp do I need samplelord as well?
Nope, that’s a completely separate program.

Sharp.
PS… Once the mapper becomes available for Extreme Sample Converter in OS 4.0, it’s going to be the main “Go To” too for conversion and assembly in my opinion.

I hope I won't have to re-purchase at full cost!

I find ESC too to be the BEST for these things...also, as some others pointed
out, Kontakt Programs can also be Automatically imported but there is a problem.
The Programs have to be Saved in Kontakt 2 Format as Patch+Samples and
then imported to ESC (thats the only way ESC will read them) and then you
just export them in SF2 or any other format. Since Kronos has problems with
SF2s you can export to SF2, open Awave, import them and then Export to M3 format.

Hi Nedim,
For a second I thought ESC was another program!

Interesting suggestion! I hope Korg has made significant improvement for SF2 though.

Thanks Sharp!
If I had known it's so easy, I would have some sf2s up and running, instead of driving me nuts.
I'll check some examples tomorrow.
