Basic Stuff

Post by lotty1 »

Hi Qui
Will you be producing any basic skill level stuff for creating PCG or loading sample on to Kronos :?:
I'm still trying to get to grips with the manual but suffering

i've noticed that there are a lot of new kronos users active on this forum, so here's a little bump so that people can see in the first post of this thread which tutorials are available.

This saturday a new tutorial will be uploaded (number 14).

Now since the MS20 mini is on it's way, i think it would be a great idea if we share some tips and tricks on how to get the most out of the patch panel. The tutorial was only an introduction to what is possible, but you can do some really interesting patch setups.

What do you think, would it be a nice idea to exchange screenshots of the synth and patch panel so that people can rebuild the preset and that we discuss the patch setup as a learning experience to see how and why things are done this way?

I'm really interested to see some of peoples patch methods to see how they do create those sounds :)

A good idea but does the MS 20 not save patch files including the patch cable settings?

I assumed it did but that's probably incorrect.

yes, it does save the patchpanel, but i think it's a better method if you patch things yourself based on a screenshot, that way you immediately hear the difference of your own patch actions.

True, and you can learn from mistakes that way.

Perhaps some convention for the size of these pics is needed?
