Interesting - there is no notice to any announcement on www.korg.com when I visit that URL. Either I'm missing something obvious or else it's not being displayed because I'm outside the US (in Ireland).

I've long griped over www.korg.com being misleading to international viewers but hats off to Korg USA - I notice a new link to international distributors on the lower right of www.korg.com; and perhaps USA only content is viewable from IP addresses within the US?

Whatever the reason, there's no evidence of an announcement to me on that web site.

Kevin, there is a row of advertising screens on the main page:
do you see that?

Wait a moment, and the annouincement will appear, if you don't have javascript (or whatever plugin) disabled.

Quite weird, because I am in Switzerland in the heart of Europe and not in the US and I can see the announcement anyway...

Oops -

Yes - it's because I use Firefox, but am keeping it at Version 3.4 (the latest versions kill my little ASUS netbook). So it's my really old browser - I can see the notice on IE.

By the way - look at the ad for KronosX - it blatantly says "Expect More" - no doubt a pointer to a very bright future of upgrades and releases as much as a general indication of the expected standard of the workstation.

So I do now see the countdown on IE and my apologies for wasting time with silly musings about korg USA when viewed on my very old version of Firefox (upon which the countdown does not appear).

NuskoolTone just says what probably many think:

Korgisking, you are wasting the patience of forum readers by spreading your recurring sound requests across multiple threads.

Fact is
a) the Kronos has more than enough sounds for everyone, and the few missing ones can easily be replaced by sampling, especially since OS2

b) learn to do something for yourself before flooding threads with your sound requests

I guess from the view of many in here you really behave like a little child crying for sweeties, and not like an adult trying to solve a real problem or two by doing what he can, and only then asking for help. It seems to me that you haven't even scratched the surface of doing what you can do yourself with the Kronos.

Neither Korg nor we in this forum are even remotely responsible to provide you with any possible sound you would like to have, and it doesn't become better by your requesting without end.
