Curious, why have you even bothered to reference that motif library when it's not even a sample library?
Creating programs from existing content is child's play and a darn sight easier than having to go off and sample your own instruments and create your own programs from scratch.

I'm not surprised it's so cheap. The amount of effort is far less than what it takes to create a new sample library.

i understand but i don't know, i am afraid it will probably be 4-5 times as
high as that price...one thing is to tweak a Program for 10 minutes and
another thing is to create a sound for 2-3 days. Of course the end results
matters but that's for the end user while the developer has different brain.
But i like those on Yammy too...some nice Guitars.

That's pretty interesting. I dug the Rhythm gtrs. I have a similar project on my todo with strats, an LP, and an Ibanez pointy gtr. Also with a MesaBoogie MKIV and some egnater modules.

Even though i am not a Guitar guy nor i know anything about it somehow
i started to love the Messa Boogie MK IV.

The best sounding E-Guitars I heard played with kronos...very good sample material.

Next Project could be Kronos acoustic guitars, which are also in need of improvement .....

yes, creating good sounds takes a lot of time. For instance i'm working on a combi set for more then a year now, and it's still not finished.

But when i hear the end result of your guitars i think you can be proud of your hard work, they really sound good, so it was 4 months well spent!

Than You guys...TiGroove, while Distorded Guitars is all noises and nothing
really matters creating Acoustic Guitars is a little harder Task and needs
a lot of work and also good facilities for Sampling.

As a kronos newbie, I do have a question. You know around 4.44 mins onwards , in the video you have that guitar sound going on with your left bass hand and you play a chord and that chord repeats so you can do solo on your left, how do you do that?

That looks really good btw. Sounded pretty authentic to me. Keep the price low!! Sorry my wallet told me to say that. Any idea when you'll release?

Simply to illustrate what can be done with some clever programming using existing resources within a workstation. I'm pretty sure that similar results can be achieved with Kronos, quite likely better results actually as Kronos has brilliant effects capabilities.

The electric guitar samples in the Motif are - not surprisingly - quite ordinary, given the relatively tiny amount of waveform data assigned to them. When the effects are stripped from many of the AXXE guitars, it becomes clear how crucial they are to making the library as good as it is.

in Korg's terms thats a Combination, its not Factory and also it wont be offered in the Set.
It has Drums, Bass and also the PowerChords as Rhytham.
Its all custom made which you can not do on the Kronos, you need software for it
from karma-lab.com, the KARMA Software.
I dont know yet when they will be released.

then i cant really do anything with Programming. For Solo Lead Guitars Kronos and Motif
can *maybe* come closer and similar but for the PowerChords i can comfortably
challenge any existing workstation with no matter what programming abilities.

No argument from me on your points. It's cool that you can build huge sample libraries and stream them with Kronos. I was just saying that great programmers can do great things with limited resources, and likely brilliant, fantastic things with what Kronos has on offer. I look back at all the third party stuff I used to buy for my M1, ESQ1, and other oldies, and some of the results were amazing, far above and beyond what the factory libraries were able to offer. Sound Source Unlimited took my M1REX to places i never dreamed it could go.

Now, with your superb samples - and all of Kronos synth parameters and effects capabilities - you could potentially offer a monster of a guitar package!

What Dave Polich has been able to achieve with a stock Motif XS transcends mere "child's play" (in Sharp's vernacular... that's like saying that Dan Stesco's Kronos work using existing resources is also "child's play", which is of course quite absurd). The stuff that Dan has done for even the lowly MicroStation illustrates his deep and passionate understanding and love of programming at every level the instrument offers, something that goes well beyond the source samples.

Just saying that you're onto something huge, make the most of it - I'm certain that you will!
