Nice one :)

Mine is 3599 and also guaranteed by korg to have the fix.

What's the other number on the cardboard box, does it start with a K?

No number on the box starts with a K. Does this mean I haven't got the newer contacts?

Am a little worried to be honest, as I wanted to be sure it had the new contacts fitted before I received it regardless of whether or not there happens to be a problem with the old contacts.

Korg UK assured me all their new stock has the new keybed.

But it has pink contacts and a serial number of 2865, meanwhile someone else in the UK in early June posted their 88 note serial on Karma Labs of 3249.

Might look like I'm worrying for the sake of it, but another company is selling B-stock Kronos and when I contacted them about it, those were coming direct from Korg UK this week.

If it really does have the upgraded contacts then I am happy, but that is what I wanted and I won't be happy if that isn't what I have got.

I worry about mine as well, I also have pink contacts.

I had 3600 before with J12 on the box, that was apparantly the old keybed.

The replacement 3599 has K1 on the box is apparently the new keybed!

In the end I stopped worrying, it seems to work fine and it has a warranty.

Mine has J-11 on the box.

What you say is very true, it has a 3 year warranty.

It's the principle, I emailed Korg, they assured me it would have the new contacts.

But I expect to get what I ordered.

Maybe korg uk have just updated all the stock they had.

All I know is that it seems hard to tell what one you have, you have to take korgs word for it I suppose.
