Don't look at it?
I've never even noticed the blinking LED except when I need to.

At the risk of sounding very harsh, I would have to say that if you suffer form migraines; and I am very familiar with them as my wife and daughter both do; and a blinking LED is causing problems, either put black tape over it or perhaps find another instrument.
I'm very sorry. I DO not mean to be cruel but if this is a medical issue then you must take precautions. I have to assume that you don't play out in clubs. Certainly not ones with flashing strobe lights. These annoying things can give anyone a headache and for someone susceptible to migraines even more so.

Just out of curiosity, does the blinking disk led bother you?

Me?

I've suffered from migraines for around 30 years since I was around 18. The sort where one side of my face would go completely numb. Was seen by every person possible in the UK (good company private health scheme) and it was finally brought under control by a neurologist trying antidepressants (after they had tried virtually every other drug they could).

I used to get migraines lasting up to five days, now if I get one, its just for a few hours.

But, in my early twenties, I was attacked while walking through town by about 20 drunk servicemen. I had seen them kick both crutches away from some guy, causing him to fall over and I helped him back up, they came back and objected to me doing this.

End result, I was in hospital for a week, had three operations on my skull including one to pull my eye socket back out after it had literally been kicked in (and was told I was very very lucky I wasn't killed)

Since then, I have had constant blurred vision in that eye, its hard to explain, my vision changes daily, I could have 3 eye tests 3 days in a row and would be given different prescriptions.

Thankfully vari focals have been a godsend but only today for the first time in ages I could see the TV clearer without my glasses than with them.

I can't stand strobe lights, when I used to play live there was usually just the normal red/green etc coloured lights.

certain shops with modern lighting in make me feel very disorientated in, led lighting seems to be the worst for this, and I have to leave.

Certain modern car headlights also make me feel sick.

A fluorescent light on its way out drives me nuts, I can see them flickering weeks before the average person seems to notice it and I can't be in a room with one flickering.

Camera flashes don't seem to bother me if its my pic being taken, I look away from the TV if there's a lot of photography on a news report etc.

My daughter suffers from photo epilepsy and can't look at the same things as me, and finds exactly the same things I've described above, likely to trigger it. I have never had any sort of fit though.

Its worse when I'm tired, but as for the last twelve years I've suffered from chronic fatigue, that's pretty much all the time.

When I purchased my active monitors, first thing I did was put black tape over the bright piercing blue power LEDs.

This is also the reason I told sharp I didn't like the new proposed forum colours as they hurt my eyes.

And the very very first thing I said to my wife when I first switched my Kronos on is "why do they use such bright obtrusive led colours, that flashing one will drive me nuts"

I'm gonna say no.

When I worked in a music shop, we once had a guy come back with his Fender Custom Shop Jimi Hendrix model because the tremolo springs didn't have the same number of windings that Jimi had.

If you are seriously considering covering it with tape I'd use a painters type tape that wont stick like electrical tape. Even then I wouldn't leave it on for long as your Kronos gets warm and anything sticky could possibly harm the finish.
Just my 2 cents but other than coloring it with a black permanent marker I don't really see a long term solution and even then I still don't think its a good idea if you want to keep your Kronos in nice shape.

Try a Phillips screwdriver & hammer hold the screwdriver steadily over the tempo led light start smashing it away with hammer till it no longer blinks .Hope this solves your problem

You could tear off the soft black tip of a stylus, and set it on the tempo light.
If the bottom of the rubber tip is smooth enough, you might be able to stick it like a suction cup.
Some dollar stores sell stylus's for a dollar.
Dont know how well that would work though.

Hadn't really noticed the blinking blinking light until you blinking pointed it out and now it is blinking getting on my blinking nerves the blinking blinking thing.

(for those wondering what I am on about, blinking is an old fashioned UK replacement word for a blinking swear word and I am also going slightly mad)
