Alex, that looks very interesting.

Can you please provide some additional details:

1. Ethernet -- apparently there is a "free" port inside the Kronos. Is that it?

2. USB -- where did you plug the USB inside the Kronos?

3. Fixing the device -- is there room if there is a second SSD installed as well?

Thanks!

Paulo

Hi Paulo:

1. Correct. Kronos mainboard has got one free ethernet port available

2. . If you open the keyboard the mainboard is located on the upper left corner (at least in my K61) and the usb free port i used is the one just above the usb connector that is plugged with a factory cable. Anyway it is really easy to spot it, Kronos maiboard has a couple of free USB port.

3. Yes, there is room. If you look at the photos I posted you will see that I installed the router just on top of an Agility 128Gb ssd that I installed as a second hard drive. I also installed a very silent fan, you can spot the rubber blue supports for that in the photo.

Please let me know if I can help.

Regards,

Alex

Thanks, Alex.

Can you be more specific as to the screws you had to remove to open the side panel? I'm having a hard time finding them out...

Also, were you able to test the wifi before you closed the Kronos?

Thanks again!

--- I WAS ABLE TO SQUEEZE THE CABLES W/OUT REMOVING THE SIDE PANEL. THANKS! ------------- :P

Why no webshop (as part of the Kronos OS) for sounds and samples? Why no OS autoupdate ?
Even my Nintendo DS is able to do that.
Will Korg be able to do it in the future? I doubt it.
Why does Saxifraga always take the negative approach to everything.
why why why ....

Is there a way to block the body of posts by certain users?
The first user I'd block would be Saxifraga.

I was able to get the router installed inside the Kronos, but I am still struggling to get it to connect wirelessly with Cyberduck.

On the Kronos network tab, all looks good: Status = "connected", I have IP, Subnet and Router numbers.

On the Mac, however, I can't get CyberDuck to connect to the Kronos. I've followed DanatKorg's instructions (http://www.korgforums.com/forum/phpBB2/ ... +cyberduck), but to no avail.

Can you please give me any insights? I'm almost there...

Thanks again!

Hi,
At step 6. Of Dan's instructions did you try to change "kronos.local" with your actual kronos assigned ip address?

Hi,

I used a NoiseBlocker XR2 and I am really happy with it.
My Kronos is absolutely silent!
