I second that. I'm not an expect when it comes to synths and editing sounds (bought my SV-1, my first keyboard with editable sounds, about a year ago), but to me it does make everything alot quicker. I'm not a fan of software synths either; I may be a bit purist in that, but I want to be able to make live music without having to bring a laptop along everywhere I go. I like having "dedicated" boards.

The SV-1 Editor allows you to change some properties that you wouldn't be able to change on the keyboard itself. Because the KingKorg has a display (three of them), there might be no direct need for an Editor since all functions can be accessed by scrolling through the menu's. But from my (marginal) experience, I really appreciate editor software. But, one huge downside of Editor software: You're not actually twisting and turning knobs

I would like to see an editor.

I think it would be very useful in learning how other sounds are produced without having to page through the display.

If I could see all the parameters on one or two tabs that would be very useful.

The most annoying thing to me regarding editing so far is that the filter type is not on a knob like the oscillator type. Having to use both hands to hit shift and the filter button to go backwards is annoying. Of course you could just hit the button and go forward, but there are 18 different types if you accidentally passed the one you wanted...should have been a knob.

+1 you're really right! Feels like Korg feared the push function on the filter knob... maybe because of overuse and wearing it out ? Strange, because the knobs seem very solid to me. Would be fantastic if they offer a hardware update for this!
