I use - The Unarchiver - The software is free and can extract nearly every format in osx.

@MRedZac: first i want to thank you for your work and your sharing! I'm exited to try the sounds out and built some kind of brass-sections!

I also have a problem on mac and both tips don't work. When i unzip i get a folder with 1 File called "Kronos Sax Pad.zip" that is 50MB and 60 Files that are called Kronos Sax Pad.z01-z60 and are 100MB.
When i try to unzip in Parallels Desktop it says archive is corrupted. The original file is 6.34 GB, is that right?

Best regards, Robert

Not sure which tips you mean, but unarchiver won't work with these type of split zip, iZip will. open the .zip file and it will connect the pieces and unzip. Did you try it?

Did you actually try unarchiver on this or just stating that it usually works?

Don't click on the link in the post (MEGA) - it is not all selected as a link. Copy and paste it and you will get there.

Sorry for the problems with box.com, but it is very difficult to find hosters, allowing you to upload almost 8 GB and share it with others for free at reasonable download rates.
I deleted the first link and made a comment on how to use the MEGA Link in the initial posting.

Yes. But all it does is create a new file "Kronos Sax Pack.zip.cpgz", and I don't know what to do with that file, either...

I did a small test now...and really enjoy your work...congratulations.

My favorite:
- Kronos Alto Sax 13
- Kronos Tenor Growl 3.

One suggestion to the next time.
Perhaps would be interesting produce "the click" separately, so each person could be able to adjust the volume according to the personal taste.

Again, thanks for your effort ... I believe that you've invested a lot of time on this package.

Thanks for your Feedback, Rubinho ! :D

If everything goes well, I´ll release a second pack during the day, this time concentrated on Tenor- and Sopransax. I already did all the sampling work over the last days, just need to create the packages and upload... Will post this in a seperate thread as soon, as everything is ready !

Cheers

Hi MRedZac

Thanks for this wonderful upload. I managed to download them (under Windows) and play them last night. This makes sax-playing on the Kronos soooo much more fun!!! EXs3 saxes are ok for softer work, but yours do a perfect job in stronger songs. I am specifically impressed with the Tenor Growl: wonderful! (I tweaked those ones a little to bring the growl more forward by reducing the volume of the basic sax sample at high velocity)

There's indeed plenty of material to experiment with, e.g. using the EXs3 provided programs and exchange the sax samples with yours.

Your work is highly appreciated!

Looking forward to your next project

Regards
