So, are the PA3X-OR accompanying manuals and guides exactly the same as the "International" version?
I notice that Korg's PA website does not mention the OR version except that it exists as a "version".

Dear gusshr and all,
Slightly off-subject but...
My neighbour has just taken delivery of his new mountain bike. It's a top model: It's a trusty KorgaBike.
But what did my neighbour find in place of the 8 gears (as advertised)? His new KorgaBike had only 4 gears! He complained of this discrepancy to his KorgaBike retailer. The retailer responded that due to my neighbour's living in a flat terrain, (Crewe UK), he wouldn't need more than 4 gears.
What else did my neighbour discover? His new bike lacked the front suspension forks as promised and enjoyed by thousands of similar trusty KorgaBike users. The retailer responded that my neighbour's District Council has an excellent record of pot-hole repairs and road resurfacing; therefore no need for the front suspension forks in his case.
Another minor point is that my neighbour's KorgaBike also lacked a seat! How can he ride his new trusty KorgaBike with nowhere to sit? Is he now supposed to buy and fit his own saddle?
The retailer responded that any such modification would void the warrantee.
KorgaBikes are great for most, but truly a pain in the **** for my neighbour.
happy regards

I think, (and this is only my thought)
KORG Italy is covered, because this OS was modified under the responsability of Lebanon KORG distributer.
same goes for the Pa3x Musikant version (and here we are talking only about a few blocked styles/samples related to specific areas)
but KORG by this way, try to increase the production with a minimum responsibility, not necessarly a fair point for all custommers (who cares !!).
same thing they do with the KRONOS (DIY machine).
As I mentioned, my new Pa3x76 have a 6XXXX serial number with a damaged battery.
and this is the contrary of what they mentioned on KORGpa.com

For the Musikant version, KORG finally gave in to the pressure from the users and restored the missing functionality.
Also, MIDI out was never blocked on the Musikant.
Still, I think it's a shame that they even agreed with the distributor to put the restrictions in place. If someone buys a $4000+ keyboard one expects those functions to work.

I’m not understanding this thread as there is no heading or “first” post. Can someone give me a brief version of what is basically being said here. What is an “OR,” what is “locked,” what does MIDI being locked mean, what “locking” is involved in the Musickant, etc?
Thanks
