I do know how to find each particular drum so that I can actually have some consistency but it's truly a pain on the bottom just having to isolate each drum, put it's onto a separate track and then transpose it so I end up having the same drum throughout my song.

Use the Shift/Erase Note command. This will greatly simplify your life.
