i've just emailed you the file for the XL+. i adjusted the gain to match your recording of the XL. i'm not sure it would matter but it was recorded at 48k, and the tempo seems a little faster. i can re-record if needed. what's the tempo you used for the XL recording?

Yes, tempo in your record seems a set at 120 bpm.
In my MIDI file tempo is set to 100 bpm.
If is for you it is not very difficult - please re-record at 100bmp (otherwise - let it be as it is).

A little later, I will publish the results of the analysis here.

Some of samples completely different, some have minor differences, some have another number of their position in order.

you may also need to download VladiKuz's test.zip. the audio was recorded from his custom midi and patches included in the zip file. you can find the link to that here in this thread.

So, how are things going? Reviving an old thread... Still interesting in the difference of the sounds between XL and XL+.
