Volca sync

I've only been using the volcas with batteries. The bleed is definitely related to certain sounds from other units going in through the headphone jack and acting as a sync trigger.
I expect the cheapo hub just hard wires the sockets together and nothing more than that. I'll see how the rockstar does - worth the tenner just to try as it'll be more convenient than getting out the mixer when I want a quick dabble.

Got the rockstar today and it does the same thing. I'm using vBeats as the master sync.
It works fine if just the vBass and headphones are connected to the rockstar, even if its volume is cranked up.
If I plug the vBeats into the rockstar as well, even if there's no pattern playing on it, then once I kick off a pattern on the vBass and crank up the volume it starts to get false triggers from itself.

Agree it's still best to use a power-source mixer. I hope somebody somewhere will manufacture a mixer without the need for power-source. The only quick fix now is a splitter like the Rockstar, I think.
Oh well, the Rockstar does what it does and I don't get bleeding or any other disturbance. But I think it does share outputs so volumes of the devices poked into the Rockstar will vary. The Rockstar is most definitely not a mixer. But it does the job when I am mobile and I get the urge to make some sounds.

Don't get me wrong, I still really like the rockstar for its convenience for a quick dabble, and I work around the false triggers by keeping the overall volumes just below the threshold where the bleed starts.
Other than keeping that threshold in mind, I don't have any issues using the volume controls on the volcas to control the mix through the rockstar.
