Hi all,

I have a problem with triangle bpm sync modulation... It seems LFO restarts for every trigger, instead of going on infinitely but synchronised with bpm, like simple triangle with no bpm sync.

Thus, I can't do like 1 bar or more modulations with the synchronised triangle.

On the EMX both triangles (sync and no sync) never retriggered.

Does my english make sense ?

If you look at the parameter guide, it looks like it's only available with BPM Sync plus Key Sync. In fact, nearly all of the LFO waveforms are locked into Key Sync :(

I'm really not a fan of Key Sync LFO. I like them free-running vintage analog style. Well, we've got another thing to add to the update list now: A way to turn BMP and Key Sync on or off for all LFO options.

Hi I'm new to this forum. I have a Q for you E2 owners about file handling:
Is the E2 mounted as an extra hard drive when hooking it up via USB? Seems obvious, but you never know... I hope I will not have to buy an external SD-card reader.

step sequence motion editing

Post by noobnr39 »

anyone figured out how to do step sequence motion sequence editing yet ????

was a major feature for me on the EMX 1. shame, the emx2 has so much potential. but really a huge lack of workflow and functionality....

No eiting of motion sequence data on the emx2. :(

Fingers crossed for this super useful function to be included in a firmware update.
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Has anyone figured out any pattern naming shortcuts?

I've tried most of the keys/knobs and shift+dataknob does nothing. I find naming patterns a pain in the arse. With 16 pads sitting there it would be nice if they had some shortcuts to jump between character types as well as a space/delete key.

Twirl that data dial...

Yeah, I was wishing you could hold shift while turning the parameter knob to switch between capital, lowercase, numbers, etc while naming too.

Just tried this, the e2 registers as a separate USB device, not mass storage. Maybe Korg can add an option to toggle register as mass storage to the ever growing list of firmware changes/fixes 8)

Thanks! For sure they have to when they release the Sampler, that handles far more data.

Has anyone figured out a decent way to mimic a fast arp?

Step entry would be the easiest, but there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do a step entry. Any ideas? I am trying to slow the tempo down and just play the pattern in real fast, but that sucks.

In "sequencer" record mode, is there a way to specify which note gets turned on and off? I also can't quite figure out how to specify the note length. The manual says hit the step button....what step button?

@Vertical,
Do you have a daw and an audio interface?

Yes to both. But not sure how that is relevant, cause one reason for owning an E2 is to not have to rely on a computer.
