Today I will get mine, gonna try using my RS7000 or RM1x to sequence the Korg. If anything it will make a great module, it should be possible to map the knobs on the Yamaha to stuff on the Korg.
That sounds awesome, please report back :D I have an RS7000 myself, which I plan to hook up to the Electribe2.

^ Will do!

First I need to some hand-on time with the e2 before connecting it. I'm on 1.03 and can hear a small delay/gap when changing patterns still. Maybe I am too picky. But its surely noticeable. Within the Traveller set of patterns it's pretty apparent.

Yeah, I'm thinking if I combine it with the RS7000, the gap issue won't be a concern. Plus the midi features on the RS7000 might come in handy.

^ Yes!
Should make a good combo swell as the midi options the sequencing options are nice too on these old beasts. Polyrhythms ftw. Having different bar lengths and time signatures per phrase/part in the same pattern is a nifty feature.

The gap is not a big issue if you don't perform live or need to make a full track on it. With the Ableton export creating a song arrangement from a few patterns shouldn't be too tricky.

Yeah, that's why the gap issue won't be such a big deal for me, since I won't be performing live. And another bonus by including the RS7000, is the second midi out it features. Looking forward to some quality time with this setup! :D

First run through of using the electribe and Gadget together for transitioning between patterns:

Nicely done!! Are you using Gadget to cover up the pattern changing blip?
If I'm not listening to music, or if I'm not making music, then I'm probably thinking about music.

Volca Sample, FM, Beats, Kick. OP-1, Monologue, Pocket Operators. And an ipad.

I don't have the pattern change blip, not something I've run into here. In this vid Gadget is providing the background pad sound during the transition, everything else is the Electribe.

Nice job with the gadget. For now, I'm sequencing with my RM1X. It works well.

I would imagine the OP-1 is also a great addition for the new Tribe. After reading the specs I fear that is it not possible to connect the OP-1 directly with the Tribe. Maybe the Namm will bring us the OP-2 with two tiny MIDI connectors 8) BTW, does the OP-1 supports MIDI clock over USB? If yes: in both directions?

One time I ran into the same thing...it was with this one part I made that was a highly processed and glitchstep like distortion sound I made.

Tarekith, Have you ran into stuck notes ever again? Did you figure out a solution or what might have caused the issue?

I'm hoping it was some kind of thing where a sustained note or something in the synthisis I was not paying attention to.

I have ran into other things that freaked me out then I discovered it was a motion sequencing I forgot to erase.

LOL, I think everyone has had one of these moments when it comes to any motion sequencing gear!
