99.999% of the "merchants" (assume you mean members) on these forums are here to ask questions, pass on information or support others and NOT to offer and try and justify taking out ridiculous law suits against Korg - you really need to FORGET Korg and go and get something else - if you think that "locking" topics and banning undesirables is unfair, just go back and look at the responses to your posts!!! Just in case you have difficulty understanding, these are Korg forums for people who have/want/enquire/make suggestions about Korg products.

Guys/Gals - let's face it - Harpernet is at it again - just winding us up (check his previous rants)

Have a lovely day

Pete :D

The sun is shining

And the Kronos is the best workstation

This is absolute tyranny.

1. Even if this forum is run by Korg, as a general rule and being fair to all, i think, each and everyone has the right to express his or her views. This something like treating every one as equal.

2. If one asks question or raises concerns on a product, "Korg" has to come up with answers. It's unfair to threaten them by saying that your thread is not welcome here.

3. If people are complaining about products, then there is something wrong - You cannot cover it saying this forum is not meant for that.

4. NO forum in this world can have only pleasant questions. There will be 'n' number of people with 'n' number of different opinions. When we are ready to accept everyone - as it is - this is called forum spirit.

If you threaten them with 'i will lock down your topic - it's called tyranny!
Amazing guys! Keep it up!

Everyone has the right to an opinion. That includes my right to find someone else's opinion ridiculous.

And this forum is NOT run by Korg, Korg USA have simply kindly offered to offer the hosting for free after Sharp's ISP kept complaining about the high traffic. This is a user forum, so Korg is under no obligation whatsoever here.

I'm not in favor of censorship but one has to wonder about the use of a thread like this on a forum of Korg enthusiasts looking to share ideas, sounds and solutions for issues.

Class action suits that have been made available to me because of a purchase or use of a product, in every case, they were complete crap and I never participated. No one twisted my arm to buy a Kronos. I am solely responsible and the actual number of problems is way less then the number of instruments without issues. I find the idea of a class action suit completely asinine. Just my opinion but apparently that is allowed.

Every class action lawsuit that I've been associated with, even remotely, by having purchased a product or service that somehow gets a class action filed against it, even after I've gone through all the rigamarole to comply and register for my "piece" of the settlement, has ended up with the lawyers getting millions of dollars, and each "class action member" getting $10 or $20. ;)

If you could find any lawyers stupid enough to get involved in a class action suit against the Kronos, rest assured that in the unlikely event that they "won" (except no one ever wins, rather they negotiate a settlement and no one assumes any blame or responsibility), the lawyers would get 99% of the money.

You need to look at the history….

If such comments merely provoke a lot of insults, rudeness and sarcasm, I don't see the point in wasting forum space or irritating our good members.

I repeat - you need to look at the history here - this is not a one-off….

I would only lock the topic to stop the responses and it all getting too unpleasant - that's not what this forum is about.
I've already received a PM request from one of our highly respected members to put a cap on this - probably like me, he knows that this will just continue to go downhill.

Also note that he makes these "explosive comments" and then you hear nothing - he's having a good laugh (again!!) I bet.

Read the history…..
No "tyranny" as you call it here - that is totally ridiculous.

Cheers

"Tyrannysaurus Pete" :D

NOT AGAIN!!!!

@Harpernet. You've ranted about this before... Give it up.

No one here is interested in suing Korg, because as much as you think otherwise, there is NOTHING wrong with any version of the Kronos.

Funny one, didn't know him :P

Writing without any punctuation and use that as a "style", this is not cool at all. It's like writing music without any rhythm and articulation.
