Bhphotovideo says on their website if the new Kronos is ordered within 5 hours it will be shipped today

Just for grins, I contacted B & H, to confirm what are they offering.

Pointed out that their title does not state " Kronos 2 "

The photo is, but their product title is confusing

Here is there reply:

"The Korg Kronos 88 key version located at the following link is a new arrival here, and the current version available from Korg.
The previous version has been discontinued, and is no longer available here at B&H."

I spoke with B&H today and they said they had the new Kronos in stock but I asked when they arrived he could not tell me. Seems to be true but I cannot see how they can get the New Kronos before anyone that has pre ordered one but what do I know? I personally have never heard of the store but they are much larger than Pro Audiostar as I talked to my connections up there.

Sounds like they are on their way. I contacted Kraft Music as they had it listed as arriving March 2 and they replied that they just got word that their first shipment of Kronos are on their way to them and being that they were saying Feb or March back when others were saying Dec leads me to believe that they are credible

ahutnick, guess you are right. A friend of mine at Pro Audiostar called and told me they had 2 73 New Kronos now and were expecting 88 keys soon. I ordered my from Sam Ash and told me very soon. They gave me the best deal by far but Pro Audiostar will match now. I don't think I will pre order again cause it seems to have no bearing when you will receive your keyboard but no big deal as long as its not a month or something before I get mine

I preordered in Canada, (East coast) and was told mid-late Feb, so hopefully their shipments start coming in soonish. I mean, obviously if I have to wait, I'll wait but I would rather it be sooner than later.

I'm getting anxious.

Speaking of pre-order delays a few years ago I pre-ordered a Kurzweil PC3K8 and it ended up being delayed for about 10 months! And the kicker was when it arrived at the store and I took it home and discovered the flash RAM was not working. Thankfully the store had another one that they were able to swap for that one. So yeah I can understand anybody being anxious!

I've bought a lot of stuff from B&H over the years, mostly photography equipment and they have never done me wrong. To be perfectly honest, it is the ONLY online photo store that I will buy from. So if I were looking to buy just the keyboard without any package deals, I would have placed an order with them already....

So it looks like the containers from Japan are showing up here in the USA....
