KRONOS_Op_Guide_E9 page 163:

To combine all three KSCs:
1. Save any data you’ve created in Sampling Mode. (The
next step will erase all Sampling Mode data.)
2. Load CoverBand_UserBank.KSC, using the Clear All
option.
This clears out all other sample data, so that the KSC you
save later will include only the data you’ve just loaded.
3. Load SoloProject_UserBank.KSC and
Experimental_UserBank.KSC, using the Append
option.
4. Save a new KSC with a different name (such as
Combined.KSC), with Include set to “Links to EXs
and User Sample Banks.”
This new KSC now links to all of the sample data from the
three individual KSCs.

why not work?

1. I load FS Collection_UserBank.KSC using the Clear All option.

2. I load FS Collection2_UserBank.KSC using the Append
option.

3. I Save a new KSC with a as Collection.KSC), with Include set to “Links to EXs and User Sample Banks.”

after a reboot, the programs uses FS Collection2_UserBank.KSC - not work!

What is wrong?

In some cases this works, and sometimes - No!

If FS Collection2 is a modified version of FS Collection , then both libraries have the same ID and always the latest
saved one will be loaded !
In that case You have to load FS Collection2.KSC in clear mode and "save only sampling data" but you have to click
function force saving under new ID , in this way this will be an independent library regardless of what it contains
in that case you have to re-edit all related programs !

When you create a new library , always begin with clear mode and load all your custom samples in append mode !

if i correctly at the ID, they are different:

File FS Collection:

#KORG Script Version 1.0
#v2
#uuid:64cf19b8-1c0c-40be-be5c-2d04319a1fbe
FSFEN032.KMP
FSFEN033.KMP
...........

File
File FS Collection 2:

#KORG Script Version 1.0
#v2
#uuid:93a9117c-883e-4186-accf-b2e7700494d4
NEWMS000.KMP
NEWMS001.KMP

Yep , there are indeed !
Let me know about this you said :
1. I load FS Collection_UserBank.KSC using the Clear All option.

2. I load FS Collection2_UserBank.KSC using the Append
option.
After those two steps , are all working fine ?
Note that is totally different to load FS Collection.KSC and FS Collection2.KSC in append mode !
Also in FS Collection , multisamples start from 32 position which probably means that you've modified an already
existing Bank !

After these two steps - everything works fine!

these libraries are:

Then if you save this KSC as “Links to EXs and User Sample Banks” in your root SSD and then insert it in preload
interface (also clicked) , then after booting it should work exactly the same way !

it is clear. But I wanted to combine two files into one file KSC. As described in KRONOS_Op_Guide_E9 (p.163)

I mean to save files merged there after your 2 steps !

I'm sorry that you're having difficulties. Please describe the problem as precisely as possible. For instance, does the "samples not loaded" message appear?

Yes, after downloading the combined KSC, not all samples are loaded. Ie combined KSC - includes only the samples from FC Collection 2 (the CSC - loads the latest).

I'm sorry, but that doesn't answer my question. I notice that by default the Programs are loaded into the same bank, and so I'm wondering if you're talking about the Programs rather than the samples.

Does the "Samples not loaded" message appear at the top of the screen?

Very strange! Now all the same repeated (photographed the process to show the photo here). Doing the same thing:

1. I load FS Collection_UserBank.KSC using the Clear All option.

2. I load FS Collection2_UserBank.KSC using the Append
option.

3. I Save a new KSC with a as Collection.KSC, with Include set to “Both Sampling Mode & Links”

Open a file Collection_UserBank.KSK - there are 2 folders: FS Collection FS and Collection2 !! Now, of course - it works!

I did it many times with other libraries (some of my KSC files contain 16-17 EXs and sample libraries) and I could not go wrong!

And before I was faced with the fact that you can not combine the two CSC by this method!

Glad to hear it's working for you now.

Got this figured now. That video helps as far as sampling. But not file management or how to do additional sampling at a later date...

I know, a very old thread. ..

A while back I have made my own "UserBank.KSC" file according to the manual and this thread, with all my needed samples are loaded automatically. All good so far.

However, now I want to unload from this "UserBank.KSC" some of the samples which I hardly use (brass, etc) and save this reduced setup under a different name.

Am stuck now (in my head), so question - how do I go about this to "dissect" this UserBank file, how can I "unload" unneeded samples (i.e. clear them from the RAM)? How do I check what IS actually loaded?

The Auto Load only loads my "UserBank.KSC" and the Italian Grand.KSC.
