Hi meatballfulton ,I too decided against the buy (due to having a lot of the bases already covered-it did,at first,seem like a nobrainer but the small points tipped the balance).
Did he say "laughing stock like Blofeld" or is that your comment?
What I did like in favour of E2 is the way he couldn't compare it to anything,bar maybe the OP-1 that is twice the price.

"Laughing stock" was my comment. Blofeld has been out for seven years and still some of the features do not work properly. I hope Korg can do a better job than Waldorf has.

Eeh when did Blofeld become a "laughing stock"? As far as I know everyone and their mama loves it, and it's only seen high praise from the media. The E2, I'm gonna just guess that we are stuck with this, until Korg releases Electribe 3. They can't make new DSPs with software so...

Blofelds are the producers best kept secret. 7 years on and stores are still selling out of them. Perfect portable powerhouses for live sets too.
