I'd have just gotten a small recording interface that works.

I got in touch with Korg Support UK one week ago and until now no reply.
Do they reply?
I think to buy such an expensive keyboard and accept that it would not work with such a common computer is unacceptable.

I was contacted today asking the serial number and dealer I bought.
I replied with the serial and explained I bought it in New Zealand.
They replied saying I had to contact Korg in NZ.
I replied saying I live in the UK for like an year now.
Now waiting. It's already a week since my first email.

I still can’t use my Kronos with Macbook Pro early 2011. So dissapointing. My dealer has investigated the problem and told that Apple has changed something in the IOS and that Korg should come with an update for this change, but he did not know when Korg will do this..

To be clear, IOS is what runs an iPad.
OSX/Sierra currently runs MBP's.
Apple stripped away audio file packets on Sierra which caused the problem. This is well documented/discussed on the forum if you google search. Add USB to your search words
Your dealer is correct about Korg. We hope they will give us help.
I bought an audio interface to solve the problem. Thats the best option I know of.

Thanks, didn’n know about the ausio file packets. Well, thumbs crossed and wait for the update. In the meantime I use a Roland interface, but just one cable is the charme of the internal interface for me..
Problem solved

Recently I changed from Studio One to Bitwig. To my big surprise Bitwig works perfect with the audio interface of the Kronos. At last problem solved...
