Bob,
For the Program editor, this is the correct operation of Tone Adjust and the editor has worked this way since the initial release. The editor is concerned with parameters which can be permanently assigned to the Kronos SysEx data and while this can be done for Combis and Songs, it can't for Programs. This is how the Kronos operates so the editor mirrors it. You will need to change these on the Kronos.

So its still us customers that have to pay to get an working editor in a modern DAW. Sad.
I don't really understand what the point of the VST is over the standalone, it doesn't support automation of parameters which I could see would be useful, what else am I missing by running it standalone?
For me its an advantage that all the changes i do in the vst editor automatically will be saved with the song in Cubase. And when I later open that song, all the right sounds that I used will end up in Kronos, whitout me have to save the song in Kronos also.
That is how I want to work.
Thanks for the info, I must admit I thought that wouldn't work and never tried it!

Try to download it again from korg site and copy every thing inside the main folder to root and make sure Kronos is reading every thing correctly in the flash disk and try more one time this happened to me I repeated the same steps and it worked finally with the fourth try
Good luck

Does that also apply to the non-drawn boxes on the Poly6?

Nice to have an update. I wasn't aware of all the little bugs that they fixed.
Too bad there's no mention of a fix addressing the SST and voice-stealing issues that are happening with OS3.
Ah well, it's better than nothing...

Actually, the OS update download has frozen at 194/198 MB.
Trying to download again. Now frozen at 84.3/198. Probably Korg's servers are overloaded ... as usual.
Update: Managed to download OS update, BUT, the software editor download is still not working. When I click on Macintosh: KRONOSEditor_mac_300.dmg, all I get is a blank window and no download progress.
Now trying "Control + open in a new tab" and it seems to have started the download, but now it's stalled at 84.6/123

When I click on a control the empty box gets filled in with details for me.

The Sub System Software is only available for the NEW Kronos. So don't try installing it on an original Kronos or Kronos X. I'm hoping that they don't abandon the old mother board to the point where we can't update our faithful original boards while the New one continues to get more updates.

I have tried to download the updates and not successful as i have a K2 88. I have done updates when i had the KX and had no problem. Man i guess i have gone brain dead. Nah, but seriously i unzip the files and copy the files inside the folder all of them and it reads. SYSTEM UPDATE NOT SUCCESSFUL/ I have did this several times with my KX. I have tried new USB and went back to old one where i updated to 3.02 and it read that file cause it says i can update to 3.02. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will keep trying. Thanks for reading the post. You can PM or post.

Hi Tom. After farting and fiddling around with multiple attempts, I finally managed to download both OS and Editor updates. Just waiting to install now. Thanks
