So every part you use must be sculpted from the same one waveform?

Sweet, this should be fun. Going to really have to be selective about which waveform I use :)

1. I have only E2 that gives me 16 tracks why am I limited to use 2 tracks...
2. The two first conditions contradict each other
... Am I missing anything or I'm disqualified to enter
Throw me a Bone here...

The rules for the first contest shall be as follows!
Only 1 synth waveform (although you may choose any waveform you like)
No use of PCM samples
Naturally this extends to all Electribe users, regardless of the generation.

Prize: A (metaphorical) pat on the back! Also, you can decide the rules for the next contest. Winner will be chosen by a poll on here.

I'd say a week to get a song in is probably enough. Just pm me a link to your track and I'll set up the poll.

aaaaaaaaaaand (unless there is some objection) GO!
Bladuck, I think Tarekith was just making suggestions... One waveform, no pcm's.

Sounds good, will be tough with only 5 synth parts on the EMX.

This was a great challenge. I selected x-sine 2 first, but after a few minuten i Decided to use the vpm-saw instead. I need to figure out how to share the track, but i with experimenting with the fx section you can make great percussion sounds.

Mine is coming along. Definitely challenging. Effects and the edit knob have been my best friend. When is the exact due date for this?

Original Post wrote:Hey all!

I really liked the whole sampler contest thing, but I felt that there are a lot of users who may be left out! As such, I decided that I should help to get a contest started for those of us who only have synth models.

Naturally, I'd like this to include ANY synth model, but I'm unsure exactly how to make this an interesting competition in this way. For example, on a single electribe model, we could limit users to a single type of synth oscillator and drum hit or something of the sort, but this would mean a large difference between models!

Definitely want to get something like this started, but also looking for some input! Thanks guys!
Alright the first contest is underway!

Rules:
- Any SYNTH Model of the electribe can be used, and any number as well (so if you have two EMX, you can use both!)
- Each participant may only use 1 synth waveform (of their own choosing) to craft a track
- No PCM samples are allowed to be used when making the track
- Entries are due by Friday (8/7/15). Simply PM me a link to your entry and I will create a poll

Prize:
- There is no official prize. The winner will choose the rules for the next contest :)
Sadly my laptop died and I'm waiting to get my new PC assembled
so won't make it on time...

No objections here. Mine's done, but haven't recorded it yet. Was planning on it tonight, but wouldn't mind a few extra days with construction going on in my house. It's driving me nuts.
