I ended up getting this working.

The problem was that I had given it bad calibration settings when I calibrated it with a bad panel.

I had to tap the screen many many times with a stylus at the very top left, until... The magic square was filled in. I still had to repeat the process about 5 times until I could calibrate the panel with my finger though.

It seems there is a bug with the 2.0.5 version where the normal reset procedures do not reset the touchscreen calibration settings, even though they seem to reset the rest of the software settings and erase all of the programs/combis.

Either way, i will buy one and deal with replacing it once this stops being intermittent.
It will fail eventually. They all do. Just don't try to calibrate the screen when it gets really bad or you'll run into the issue I did.

Good luck!

Initially I had to calibrtate evry time i power the keyboard, after some time it became worse, and i could not calibrate any more...
Now its fixed, and i did not have to replace it :) :).

My Touch panel still working for 3 weeks without replacing the touch panel.
My steps to fix as follows:
1- I cut 1 mm from the end of the touch panel ribbon cable, so it has fresh contact.
2- I cleaned the ribbon cable with cloth.
3- downloaded update and installed M3XP_V205_E1 from: http://www.korg.com/us/support/download ... /141/1408/
4- Left the keyboard running for 2 hours.
The result my touch screen as good as new and i don't need to re-calibrate it any more.
:D :D :D :D :D
