Nord Stage 2 is very pretty

Seriously, I'm not sure that the screen would be "fragile" - would be a shocking design if so.

I actually quite like the PA4X appearance

you push a bottom and move the screen to the desired position, all done manually by hand, that's alone is risky , in addition I don't remember its done before on any korg arranger or workstation, its something new, looks and feel cheap also silly to move it manually espacially on stage , its really a backward step for a flagship arranger.

Can't agree with you there, tarek. I always thought of the motorised screen on the Pa3X76 as being more of a potential problem simply because of it having a motor. Something else to go wrong I'd have thought.

I mean it's not intended to be strong-armed into position. Normal use with it should be just fine. Sure beats the fixed angle of previous screens.
When I nod my head . . . Hit it!

Inageee with you, you put it in position on e every gig, i really dont see why it should be motorised..

Now if they could add motorised faders, now that would be a thing

Hmmm. I guess you are not familiar with the iconic Korg Oasys. It's screen can be moved flat against the top of the keyboard to almost a vertical position. This is done manually. The Oasys did not even have a button securing the screen when in a down position. The Oasys is built like a tank and the screen reflects that build quality as well. Screen position, on stage, is set before the show starts. A least for me anyway.

By the way, I like the looks of the Pa4x. In many ways, very similar to the Oasys. 8)

Oh YES PLEASE!!
All those drawbar presets (I'm dreaming of course) - that would instantly put Korg ahead of Hammond and Nord and Roland!!!

Any more things we need to worry about before they actually turn out to be problems?

Anyone remember seeing post after post about how unreliable and fragile the PA3X76's screen was? Me neither

Take away the motor, things should be even MORE reliable.

This strikes me as a little bit Chicken Little, don't you?

The Tyros 4 and 5 I have do not have motorized screens! And they work just fine. I don't really like the screen motorized on my PA3x but that just my preference! Thanks!
