The more concerning thing today (for the Japanese) is the fact that they're struggling to get the plant under control.....

Whilst radiation can cause serious health issues, I would challenge that it would cause death so quickly after the event. You'd have to go swimming in the water under the reactor to be exposed to that level of contamination.
Something I doubt that they would charge to a 60-yr old contract worker who was working in a different part of the plant.
Kronos production stopped??

I talked to a Korg representative at a demo in Koeln, Germany yesterday. On my question on prices and delivery dates he answered that he expects that the street prices would be around 3000 euro for the K61, 3300-3400 for the K73 and around 3700 for the K88. Availability at the end of June (K61), end of July (K73) and end of August (K88). However, no guarantees, price and availibilty might still change...
The street prices in Japan seem to be much lower than the prices I mentioned in my post above, but they make the prices mentioned by the Korg representative in Koeln Germany quite convincing. Prices in Japan are always excluding VAT (5%), prices in Europe are including VAT (19% in DE/NL, 21% in BE). Adding 20% to the Japanese street price results in a price that is a few hundreds of euro's lower than the prices mentioned by the German Korg representative. That might be explained by shipping and import costs.EXer wrote:In Japan:
Kronos 88 : ¥328000 ≈ $4024 ≈ €2845
Kronos 73 : ¥289000 ≈ $3545 ≈ €2507
Kronos 61 : ¥258000 ≈ $3165 ≈ €2238
What will be the price in Europe?
