Try putting a tiny dot of silicone sealant in four key spots on the underside of the wheel. TINY dot. Seat the wheel and don't touch it for a few hours. The silicone sealant will firmly and flexibly hold the wheel, but the wheel will still be removable with a bit of pressure from the underside with a plastic pry tool. It doesn't take much-I'm talking the size of a 9 point font lower case "o" here. I've spun, pushed, rattled and screamed at my data wheel and it stays on just fine. Don't use glue.

That was probably a bad move. The first day or so, it worked fine and didn't come off. But when it did...each time after that, it kept coming off easier and easier.RC-IA wrote:Just got my kronos. My data wheel is not falling down. i can turn it very very fast, no problem. I can take it off if i want, quiet easily, maybe it could have been a little more difficult to take it off, but from my point of view it's ok at the moment.

That's good news!RichF wrote:Hi everyone,
We understand that a small number of our first Kronos customers have a value dial that can be removed too easily. We are acquiring a supply of newly-designed replacement dials, which will be available for free from your local Korg distributor. If your Kronos has a loose value dial, please do NOT use glue or any other kind of adhesive to attempt to secure it, as this can void your warranty. Please also note that this problem has been fixed for current and future Kronos production.
To find and contact your local Korg distributor, please use this link:

Was coming here to post the same thing. Presumably all who bought from N*M got the same email, but they did say to contact them if you have a problem and they will have dials available for those that have issues.RC-IA wrote:received a mail from novamusik today. they ask if i have a problem with value wheel and say they will send the new one as soon as they get it.
very professionnal attitude, like it !
Still waiting on Korg. I received an email acknowledgement that they received my inquiries and that I needed to email them my serial numbers. Although both of my Kronos are already registered at www.korg.com I emailed them anyway.
Its been about 5 days and haven't heard anything...so I tried contacting them again...
Not a happy customer......

I could imagine it's a very busy time for Korg right now. Fortunately, just waiting on a replacement data wheel doesn't stop you from making music on your Kronos'. It should be comforting to you to know that 'eventually' Korg will send you a couple replacement data wheels.jahrome wrote:Its been about 5 days and haven't heard anything...so I tried contacting them again...Not a happy customer......

I registered with my US military address...not sure why that matters...

Well, I bought Kronos from a US source and a Japanese source. I registered both at www.Korg.com using military address. My military address is a US address but physically, it's located in Japan. LolRC-IA wrote:it matters since you can't regsiter a kronos bought in the usa (since it should be possible) with an address abroad. thanxjahrome wrote:
