Chain not what I expected...

What's going on..? Dead stupid easy Song Mode.. 33 of the petition.

Double tap of PATTERN SET to blink, enabling a real chain mode or better yet a link/song mode. Any Pad 1-16 selected to play in sequence. i.e. Pad 2+Pad10, Pad1+Pad16, etc.. And even unelection, HOLDING pattern set and pressing any pad to deselect it from the link/song chain.

Here's another one..

Let's up this thing to a 1000 Patterns, it really should be unlimited but I think a 1000 will due.. Eh?
Init Pattern Banks
Pattern Banks A-D equaling 1000 Patterns Total, 250 per bank.
Init Banks selected with the "<" (back arrow) Held and the value knob turned to change the value to A001, B001, C001, D001
No, yes, maybe so..?

Every Production unit should have a Mixer, No? I say YES!

Mixer Mode
What do you think about Part Mute Held to initiate the Mixer.
So the Arrows Back and Forward would select a Track and the Value Knob would select a Pattern.
Knobs from (Pitch/Glide to the edit knob) (7 knobs total) become Tracks 1-7 Level adjustment and Pads 1-7 for mute. That's like 7 electribe 2s in ONE! I'm ready to buy the blue guy now! This thing really does have a lot of potential!

Tempo Guys, damn.. Really?

Here's another little idea

How about we get Beat Matching in there..?
Let's HOLD TAP to maintain Tempo in a Pattern Change, Tracks, and Pattern Song/Links..

These are all good ideas, but I am not sure I can put them on this version of the Petition.
I intend on printing the Petition on high quality paper with a laser printer and sending it to the Korg executives this week, and don't feel we can add this stuff at this time. (we have 787 supporters so far)

Perhaps we should compile a list of recommended fixes and improvements that we can forward to Korg (assuming they will listen), or add to the next rendition of the Petition in the future. 8)

Hi Cade!

did you send the petition finally?

we surpass the votes of the DSI Tempest petition!! 8)
(Symbolically it's important ... since this petition was successful, with positive feedback from DSI)

Cheers!

Sent the petitions this weekend, and they should be going out in Monday's post.

(Note: pic was taken just before postage was put on by the Mail Center)
The Mail Center I used said it may take a week to 10 days to receive these in the UK or Japan.
I will send the petition via email (to support@korgusa.com and info@korg.co.uk) on next Monday.

(They will use the mail addresses and add us to their mailing list. We will get hilarious newsletters about "daily pushing updates". ](*,) )

Thanks Cade for your effort. This petition is the only reason why I have my E2 not yet sold.

after waiting 6 weeks (since cade has sent the petition/letters to korg) it seems that korg is ignoring everything, right? not one single answer from them?

wow, that is a bit arrogant.

Correct. :?
I have not received any email or postal mail from Korg about the petition or changes.

The last activity was 2016.07.21 when they released the red and blue versions and the firmware version 2.02. Image

2015.10.30 - Version 1.14 (+1 month)
2015.11.18 - Version 1.15 (+8 months)
2016.07.21 - Version 2.02 (with new patterns)
+ 8 months will be March 2017
