Forgive me for asking but……why would they not choose to release it at Namm 2022 where over 100,000 people will attend and probably one of the biggest music shows in the world but choose to present it with a French Presentation show that has a little over 10k followers on YouTube?

The French "show" on youtube that has been posted here is NOT official by any means.It is not even saying it is about korg or anything like that!
We assumed it is referring to the pa5x...
The official release for the pa5x hasn't been announced yet so it can still be not 30 if they decide it is needed..
My guess is that namm is not a good place as people there are not that interested in arrangers so no need for the company to spend so much more money for something that is really unnecessary...

Because time has proven there is zero interest for arrangers at Namm..

I know the shop, its as reliable as it gets its in the same innercycle of musicshops as Kraft, Bonners and Thomann

Sorry if i got misunderstood,
I meant that it is a shop , not korg.So it is not official.
We have seen shops putting up things for preorder before they are even announced...That doesn't mean that this is an official announcement of that thing!
Same here..A shop made the decision to set a live reminder for a release date..
It is not a korg official announcement so (from all the info i had during this crazy journey) the date might be moved once more..
30 is what i currently know too but i knew an slightly earlier date 2 weeks ago.

Lets all wait and see!
I doubt there will be huge availability at launch anyway...

My question is:

Why isn't KORG making a presentation of its Flagship Keyboard to the world at the same time?

Why Europe in bits & pieces like France & Austria?
It would make more sense for KORG to have a show on YT for everyone to see!

It makes sense that distributors in each country know about the keyboard months earlier so they ll be able to arrange everything about it..
They also learn the release date early enough to prepare their website ,physical stores, media , leaflets etc for the release...
It seems like some of them decided (most probably without agreement from korg) to leak info before the official announcement...
That is all we do see these days...
I m only hoping korg will do something about it and also make an official statement about it...
I stopped following youtube and any leaks as there is no point anymore...

If this is the new norm, NAMM will completely die down very soon. Maybe it's already dead.

Yes Pete. Unfortunately what you see in this photo was my entire Korg experience today. Months of NAMM speculations, came down to this door that opened to a very very small private meeting room.

No clue about the availabillity, they could be available in June…. But it could also be as late as November…. There is no way to know how korg is going to handle this
