Either Guitar Center/MF has baited preorders by using an unrealistic shipping date (soon to be pushed back?), or you'll have your unit long before the reviews are out.

Maybe GC/MF has a deal with Korg to get the first wave. I know I'll dig mine, but a review would be nice!

toy? Dude what are you on??

You want it 200 euros, so what, you can then complain that its missing features and needs more knobs and sounds?

400$ (USD) is a very fair price for this machine. And its only a toy if you use it as such.

Ho I was perhaps a little bit excessive yesterday :)

But... I don't play with it. I'm just coding tools for it ;)

The Harrison Zafrin video appears to have been removed by Korg. The electribe product page has the broken youtube window in place of the video.

ALmost tempted to pre-order but I'm worried about that "gap" of silence when a pattern changes.

For instance, see this video, or rather hear it, actually. You can clearly notice the small gap: I think the first one is noticeable around 1:00:

But otherwise, it sounds nice! This guy has other videos up, too.

I think the gap will be solved with a firmware update.
Mistabishi himself said that the gap is the result of 2 patterns that have radically different settings (such as filter, effects) and a glitch even happens on the EMX when 2 patterns clash and tax the DSP. Still stays in sync though.

Yes I think this could be be the case. It makes sense- and I had a hunch that this might have something to do with it. I have watched the demo's again and when the MX2 is being stopped- it seems to sustain/ continue to echo- unless external effects are being used. I am less concerned about this issue than I was previously.

You know, I have watched James Pullan's main demo video and he changed patterns a lot and it does not seem to have a gap. Others have posted their demos and there is no gap between patterns.

I think this is just an isolated event. I'm not worried...I'm buying!

Anyone here fluent in German? I think he confirmed that all the parts have their own, dedicated insert effect... :)

The manual says each of the 16 parts has it's own insert effect, and each part can then be routed to the master effect or it can bypass it.
