They also should do something with expression. Now its almost on/off... calibration not helping. They should put in various types of expression apply curves.

In prior PA's (PA3X, PA2X etcetera) this was the case.
KBD Sets were named 'Performances' then, and they included a style and style setting.

There was a lot of discussion about this (transition to KBD Sets WITHOUT style) here at the forums.
For me personally, I don't really miss it, because I work with the SongBook as the main source of my workflow.
I think the name 'KBD Set' is a bit clearer then 'Performance'. (they also could have named it 'Sound set' I guess, because that's what it is basically).
I wouldn't mind if a KBD Set could also contain a style though. It wouldn't harm any one and a lot of people who have been playing Korg PA's for a long time would like to see it come back.

The only thing I find missing is the ability to use a pedal to move from keyboard sets in a prearranged sequence. On the Tyros, this is called 'registration shift'
At present a pedal can only be used to +/- the keyboard set but I recently needed to quickly move from 1 to 4 to 3 back to one, etc and it appears that can not be achieved on the PA4x

I believe with a Korg EC5 pedal you can do this (I'm not sure and don't have one... yet).

Personally, I would like to see the following features in the next model of the Paxx series.
for example: 16-track AUDIO sequencer with event editing similar of the MIDI sequencer, also insertion, copying time from the region, adjusting the time of the region, adjusting the volume of each region. then we would have a great update. greetings Hans

Assignable aftertouch as an additional source to control style ( ie. Transitions between variations) also as an drop down list option for the fill mode.
Ability to save independent vocal presets within keyboardSet like it was in korg pa3x. No there is no way to use 2 different vocal presets with that had been programmed for one song.
Wi-fi which let you get rid of the cable which connect your tablet with keyboard.

Direct Access improvement:
Ability to play Styles directly (containing Samples/Waves without loading them into Ram memory) from any media like USB flash drive, SD card.

I would like 4 more user sound banks, 8 in total for user sounds!

(Quick) record button working directly (one push of the Record button) when in Style play mode, with the screen unchanged.
(well, maybe a red 'REC' icon flashing that you are recording).

I would like to be able to record directly from the screen and settings that I'm used to while playing in style mode.

What about a new fingering mode... for manuall bass,...
If i play 3 keys or more, the chord sounds for all 3 notes And Chord switches..
Lowest note also sounds the bass..
If i play just 1 note, only a bass note sounds..

So you can play both a bass part as well as a chord progression with your left hand.. also with an option to remember the left hand chord and latch it..

Would be very nice for piano style playing, where the bass is played on the first beat...

And for Kaos 2 improvements
For all those settings like density where the pa4x actually remebers the last setting, it would be great to see the last setting on the screen...

I would like to see tree new setting..
- an option to crossfade between the style and the pads..
and another two, that swich style channels off..one by one
One from left to right
The other from right to left..
So where basically one switches drums mute...then percussion and so on
Where the other starts with acomp 5 then 4 and all down to just letting drums hear...

Sync FADE IN/OUT with Midi protocol on channel midi OUT CONTROL CC# 7 (channel Volume).
Now is only analog global internal audio Fade, means is no way to Fade together with other connect instruments.
Also in global add option to set Time or Beats for FADE IN/OUT .
Add counter on screen: UP/DOWN for FADE when is working.

Add some global parameters to the keyboardsets and/or style parts, so they can be overwriteen when you choose a style..

To mind comes, pedals including the ec5 pedal
Assignable sliders
But also style related things like fingering type..

Make it so that basically a style and keyboardset come witouth preferences, so the user needs to set them...

When a parameter is set in both, STYLE > KEY SET > GLOBAL

It would work well for most global parameters
In the end i often feel restricted by quite a few global parameters.
