No they aren`t. And they cannot be converted as there isn`t any
applicative software on the planet.

Why dont you guys do the following:
Get styles from PA800, open them in PA1X, they work there, then SAVE
them as PA1X SET, then convert them to PA80, that WILL work.

Hi Nedim,

to read the PA800 styles, the PA1 needs to use OS3.0.
But then, (due to OS3.0), the exported format is equal to PA800
again and that format cannot be converted.
Am I right?

Hi,

Can somebody please give a step by step instructions on how to load these PA1X styles to PA80. Here's how I tried to do it: 1) Downloaded it to a computer here at work as compressed files; 2) Extracted the files; 3) Saved files to floppy disk; 4) Loaded files to PA80.

Nothing happens. :(

Thanks,
Al

Insert floppy- press disc-press load-press HD to see
content of FD-then select what you are going to load
into the userbanks.
(Consider that those styles need tweaking).

Thanks for your response, Choros, I believe this is how I did it. Select and load one style at a time afterwards, right? Let me try it again and I'll let you know. I wanna listen to one style and see how much tweaking needs to be done.

Thanks again!
Al

ok aty,

you can also try loading the complete USER01; 02; 03 . . . sets
one by the other, but sporadically this won`t work- due to source.
Regardless what you load, the KORG asks you for the destination.
So you`re deciding where to put the stuff.
Of course it`s possible to load just specific styles into a specfic
USER Bank or you can overwrite existing styles.

Regards

Got it! I loaded some styles not all.

Thanks again!

Of course thanks to Raporsuz for sharing these PA1X styles!

At the moment there is no applicable Software around.
Converting is not possible.
Check out this thread to find old conversions.
There are hundreds of them, (PA1X to PA80).

Hi Jim,

thanks a lot for your mail with attachment. Have received it.
I already have had the styles, but your package looks a bit
different. Will evaluate this after getting to a running XT SW.
XT still doesn't handle PA2 or PA800 format.
