very simple,

Would aslo love to have a more flexible GLOBAL, a one where you could truly keep say, differents settings...
Just in case anyone missed the tip I gave many months ago now. You can save out different Global settings and reload them depending on the situation you wish to config the Oasys up for.

As an example, I use this facility for quickly switching between a Global setup for my own style of playing in terms of Dynamic range and for when Brenda plays as she prefers a much softer set of keyboard dynamics.... as well as she prefers to use a Non Korg set of pedals which require the O to be set up for reverse polarity.

There are many more useful situations when it is beneficial to have several different Global setups on hand to quickly load and change to when you need them.

To do this simply go to Disk mode and select "Save All" from the drop down menu. Then deselect everything except for the Global setting. Give it a name and then press save.. and you have a Global Settings only save file which you can reload whenever you wish to quickly change settings without having to go through all the Globals once again.

Have fun!

I've posted this before in another thread but I didn't see it in Sharp's list above so....

It would be awesome if we could enter Program Edit mode without leaving SEQ/COMBI mode...maybe even edit a program while a sequence is playing. I realize that might tax the system. If the edit buffer/processing is too much for the hardware to handle, a nice alternative would be to allow us to exit SEQ/COMBI mode & enter the Program of whichever track is selected by hitting a button on the screen...there's space on P0:Play/REC right there next to the RPPR check-box. It would save a lot of button pushes.
A max of 2 screen touches as opposed to:
1. Taking a mental note of the program you want to work on...User bank E107 for example.
2. Pressing the PROGRAM button
3. Selecting the bank (don't mess up and press INT E instead of USER E)
4. Pressing 1
5. Pressing 0
6. Pressing 7
7. Pressing ENTER
Of course getting back to your SEQ has always been one button push.

Pleeeeeease?

Thank you Nightowl, your first wish (editing progs in seq mode) is a BIG one for me too, so appreciate the support. As for the Undo/Redo that would be great too, and probably more taxing to the system than the former because so much 'history' needs to be stored to memory (that's how its done at the mo) or to disk (would be better in a future implementation).

RPPR should not have 9 shutdown keys. At first I thought this is for O.S. uniformity between 61, 76, & 88 note keyboards. But there is no 61 key version. Please give us the option of putting the shut-off key farther down on the lowest E and give us those 8 keys back.

Few things:

For those who want to edit programs in Seq mode: An option for : If you have a channel selected in the sequencer, when you press Program it takes you to the program currently assigned to that channel.

Better metering for all channels and busses. I know there's tons of headroom in there, but sometimes I want to see how much signal is going through a particular bus.

Track overview like the new M3 sequencer, where you can edit at a higher level and I love the way you can customize the this view on the M3 (you can pick several options and data types to see all at once).

Virtual tracks. This is an old feature from the standalone DAWs that were introduced over ten years ago. For both MIDI AND audio, but I'll settle for audio for now. This could really overcome the track limits.

Piano Roll: Please, Please, Please put 32nd notes as the lowest grid division for the pencil tool! The lowest M3 grid division is 16th triplets. 32nd notes are very common with popular styles of music. I use them all the time for grace notes in drumming.

Transport buttons need to work in the event list and Piano Roll edit modes. Why is there a Soft Key for start/stop? Why can't we use the transport to start/stop, fast fwd/rwd, locate? Transport buttons could advance fwd/bwd through bars. Use the space currently used for the start stop softkey for left/right (next/last event).
