I started with the Sequential Prophet 2000 later 2002 plus and after this period I used E-mu Emulator 2, Emax 2, E-3 and E4...
I like much more the sound from E-mu but now the O is the best what I ever heard

Specialy for drums I like the MPC...

That's fantastic.

(yet another suggestion - I think there's an FM Flute on the GS1 used by TOTO and by Vangelis on (Jon&Vangelis - Private Collections) that is just about the most beautiful electronic flute sound ever (other than enigma flute). How's about another library for the OASYS that would perhaps attract attention - the entire GS1 library including that stunning flute!!).
Better still - contact Yamaha; ask them if they'll provide the FM Programming charts for the entire GS1 library and then program MOD-7!!!)

after the Yamaha GS1 Rhodes sample is really the end of this library, otherwise we will never finish it.

I know there are many other interesting sounds on the GS1 but I think the most important is the Rhodes sound (Tänzerin) and we can not exactly do it with the MOD7!

KGP1 = Steinway, Fazioli Grand Piano

KGP2 = Bösendorfer, Bechstein Grand Piano

KEP1 = Yamaha GS1 Rhodes, Fender Rhodes 73 MKI, Fender Rhodes 88 MKII

KEP2 = Yamaha CP-70, Wurlitzer Piano


Each library costs 149.- USD

Here's another thought -

For each of your sample packages - how about offering a compressed samples version of each package for an extra add-on cost.

This would be useful for live scenarios, especially for the KGP and KEP Keyboards, where fidelity is not critical, but where more pianos could be loaded into RAM simultaneously.

OASYS don't own a DVD reader, it means that each DVD must be transfered into USB key to load them onto the hard drive, isn't it ?

I am not 100% sure, but I think the drive can read DVDs but what it cannot do is _burn_ DVDs.

Hi,

the only difference of the CP-70 and the CP-80 is the size (76 keys and 88 keys)
No we have it in perfect quality available for OASYS

Great news I'm really surprised, but I don't understand why 4CDs are required for the full install ?

There are two main reasons. First it is the size of the files. As you know the CDs are limited to appr. 800MB. Another reason is that customers can decide which instrument to purchase and do not pay a higher price for sounds you do not need, eg in case you just want the Fender. Which I by the way had the chance to play a little bit yesterday evening.. and if the others are of similar quality then we will get some really great and authentic sounds.

As soon as I have my full equipment available I will write short reviews, maybe with some audio demos. Most likely I will start with KAROs Dance Composer followed by the Pianos.
