Yes! Came across the Korg DS-10 at a small game shop today. I couldn't believe my luck! Well, bought it + a Nintendo (silver).
Can't wait to try it out :D

And now I've had my first spin; I am absolutely stunned at this little beast! The range of sounds and ease of use are simply extraordinary. Only thing is I got a little tired in my ears after a while, a "problem" which'll probably be solved when connecting it to my speakers.

Yeah! :D

I notice that hooking it up to real speakers gives a whole new sound. In fact, I had to alter the settings in the mixer drastically between when using it on its own, and when connected.

A very cool discovery today was that the drums have their own effects.
Any good tips on how to program tight drums?

I'm loving this thing!!

It is just so tweakable. Really simple interface as well. It really makes me think that with a little bit more, and say wireless midi, you could do loads with it.

It already has wireless sync with other ds's so it should be possible.

I have made a couple of vids

Thanks, was going to post there, but it looked a little "unused"

This thread looked much more active.

I second the call for this thread to be moved to the DS-10 section.

Thanks, :D

That looks interesting. A good way to get some more out of your patterns.

Another good trick is to only use three tracks for the drums, and use the extra track as another synth track. All you do is edit the drum pad to be a synth sound, and then you use the piano grid to enter notes.

The more I use the DS-10, the more I realize that the best way to get the most out of it is to play to it's strenghts.

Sorry guys, Thread bump!

I'm surprised the mods have not moved this to the official DS-10 section of this forum. Oh well, I was looking to revisit all of my favorite inspirations here.
