I have recorded a video with my mobile phone:

I have written to Thomann and let's see what they tell me. I'm on the 30 days money back warranty... should I send it back?
Seem like same "fault" as mine, is it the same key also. Couple of mine is like this. You could try the change but guess changes are good to get the same in return.

Hi Zanator,

the audio in your video is much better than mine (better camera mic I guess).

This is exactly the sound I get when I release the key, and the same B key (is there any manufacturing reason?)

How long have you been experiencing this problem? I mean, I'd like to know if this is a simple 'anoying' issue or otherwise it is a real problem which derives in future key breakdown.

It seems to be a very common problem. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi! :)

I have news from thomann technical support. They are going to replace the keyboard.

This is the email I have received:
Hello,

I think this might be a problem with the keybed inside the synthesizer, so this is a case of warranty. We will return the keyboard and replace it as it was not working properly since you recieved it. Therefore you would have to give a call to our customer service.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

With best regards

I think the plastic keys are poorly moulded (cheap low-end keaboard).

The keys will not break, but they could wear down pretty fast.

Gratz! I had no such luck.

Big WOW about this picture! My $300 Casio CTK-900 has the same construction keybed, but I really couldn't believe that Korg is doing the same! I actually also quite like my action, the fact that it rests in the bottom, not just plain springy, and for the price this board has fantastic sounds and tweakability too, real Hammond drawbar modelling n' stuff. However, the rubber pads doing the job of springs have became significantly softer with use and the middle E snapped after 3,5 years of playing, so it's now held in place by duct tape. Although I've been using it really much as my main keyboard, I'm quite a hard player and never leave any gliss undone, I wouldn't predict very long age to this kinda keybed. Just be tender and careful with it!

order a new key and be done with it. It's simple to open and repair. I haven't checked on prices but it can't be too bad for a single key.

Well I haven't send the keyboard yet. The next thrusday is the deadline for sending it.

The worst thing is that I have terrible doubts about sending or not! :(

(I live in Spain and I have to send it to Germany)

If I don't send for a replacement: everything in the keyboard is working well, but I really don't like this rattling sound when the key is released.

If I send for a replacement: I'll have a new keyboard, but with several risks: sending the package is my responsability (if it get lost or damaged I'll lost €1200) and maybe the new one has the same problem or worst: other ones!

I've been thinking about open the keybed and inspect the problematic key (maybe apply some vaseline llike an user commented here) but then the warranty agreement will be broken.

I know I'm picky, indecisive... well, nobody is perfect.

I'd really appreciate your advice.
