DID ANYONE UPGRADE A PA800 TO 128MB OR 256MB IN THE USA? IF DID WHERE AND WHAT IS THE COST.

Hello everyone,
I agree with Amiri, I think the time is here. Hopefully very soon, someone here in USA will upgrade the Pa800 memory to 128 or 256 MB.

Did he do it himself or someone else did it for him also if possible to ask him if he uses a modified operating system . I’m going to replace my pa800 ram but just making sure the operating system will work

@amiri, u cant just replace ram module, there is some modifications to be done,on motherboard, as on ram chip... but no one will tell u exactly what have to be done, profesional secret

but it isnt that simple...

I sent a message to support@korgcanada.com regarding upgrading the Ram for my Pa800.Their answer is as bellow:
Unfortunately there is no official RAM upgrade for the PA800. If you add more memory yourself you will need to modify the mother board. This procedure is risky and would nullify your warranty.
Hope it will be official soon.

yes, but everyone who is doing memory upgrade of pa800 is giving from 1 to 3 years of waranty is something hapens to motherboard or memory, that is more than korg giving and that is 2 main things that have been malfunctioned, on pa800 everything else is working ok. So if some1 having doubts about instaling more ram memory u can be shure it is safe and better than factory memory, because they have to correct that error on motherboard and also change ram modules from pa800... and i presonally reccomend to every1 to add some small fan, u can use for a laptop, so this parts can be cooled propertly... this is 10euros more, but 10 grades down, and who nows what im sayin will agree.
